Bug with instant cast “Fake Your Own Death”
Don’t have log, definitely going to screen record next game, but “Fake Your Own Death” did not have the option to instant cast when I had mana and opponent was blocking.

I had a similar problem, I had 2 mana, but I could not cast the instant shock on the opponents term as a reaction of my opponent casting as creature spell.
I will attach the log.

Had you used another card to plot Fake Your Own Death? Plotted cards can only be cast at sorcery speed.
Were you playing in a format that allows older cards, like Timeless? There are cards removes your opponent's ability to cast at instant speed, like Teferi, Time Raveler.

There are cards like Myrel, or Kutzil, or Grand Abolisher, etc. that make players unable to cast spells on their opponent's turn.
