Etched Slith won't remove Energy counters from my opponent
When my Etched Slith deals combat damage to my opponent, it gets a +1/+1 counter as expected. When I then target my opponent with the reflexive trigger, it should give me the option to remove one of my opponent's Energy counters (my opponent had 2). Instead, the only option is "Decline."

This interface is just so poorly designed, you have to click on the opponent/permanent again to have the Slith remove a counter, but it does not even show you the info about it.
And to make it worse, the "Decline" option is default, so if you press space, you lose the effect. -

This has happened to me in 3 games now. It is extremely frustrating to have to "decline" using my card as it is supposed to be used. It does not work for energy, or for +1/+1 counters, or for flying counters. But it does work for my opponents against me.
I assume there is something in my setup but I have restarted the program and my PC, and have played across updates from this week vs the prior week :(

I encountered this situation,too.
when my opponent has 5 Energy counter, etched slith dealt combat damage but MTGA displays only "decline" button.
