Timer counts down when you don't have control
Your timer counts down often when you don't have agency. (often client is animating things on screen)
Played a match where my opponent was comboing, despite responding to each priority as quick as possible, my timer ran out, forcing me to not be able to respond to the combo when I need to.
During this match my timer was running when I couldn't click anything.

Faced exactly same problem.
Opponent has a huge combo and I don't even have instant/flash to throw or any other triggered/activated action to do.
And to my surprise it is MY timer that starts to flow...
This seems completely irrational.
Desired solution would be an opponent timer fuse to start (if endless loop is detected) or to have no timer fuse at all in such case and let the combo resolve.
