Sundering Titan does not see wastes as a basic land type.
Wastes. is. a. basic. land. So, even though it worked out in my favor, when I played Sundering Titan, and when it was destroyed the next round by my opponent, I should have had to destroyed 2 of my wastes (one in each trigger). But, I didn't. I have not desire to be a cheat, and want this corrected and the victory awarded to my opponent.

Sundering Titan doesn't care about basics, it cares about basic LAND TYPES. And there are only five of those: Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, Forest. Wastes have no land types.
