It's almost like Wizards of the Coast is just pumping out cards without playtesting them. Then they ignore the fact that these cards and the mechanics they put into the game without proper playtesting break games. If the designers at Wizards of the Coast were really competent, this nonsense would have never been printed. If the people in charge of the formats were competent, they would have already banned these cards.

Yep it needs to be banned. Most idiotic game design I've ever seen in any game ever. Not spending another dime until this is resolved, and Callous Sellsword with it. They should also ban Monstrous Rage and Heartfire Here while they're at it, the deck was ALREADY too good.

Why stop there? Maybe ban all leylines. How many decks rely on gravedigging or targeting opponent? Having a card that can hose a deck concept for free before turn 1 is absurd.

I completely agree. It makes so many non-games. If you don't have a removal spell on turn 2 you're basically cooked and even then thanks to Turn Inside Out they can just manifest dread in response. I hate this standard meta so much. It's such a brainless rock-paper-scissors game now. They need to fire the design team. They suck!
