honest question, why TF did wizards add a 3 cost sweeper in duskmourn?
That is complete and utter BS, there is no reason there should be a 3 cost that will destroy all tapped or untapped creatures, that is extremely over powered and needs to be removed from standard best of 1, there is no reason a sweeper should cost as little as 3 that should cost the same as any other sweeper at 5 to 6 to prevent the caster from having two available in the same turn, what BS is this

Ok and the honest question was for wizards, not some random guy to hop in and ride hasbros nuts and try to make sense of something that they broke, they know that a longer rotation will not work, and they refuse to fix it because god forbid they are wrong. You are just trying to defend a decision by a company that does not care about you, just cut it out.

You asked an "honest question", so I answered with what I see as the reason. Wether such measures work is a totally different topic. And with Standard having been extended to a 3-years rotation, we are currently, and for another about 1 1/2 years, in largely untested waters, since the current sets have been designed and tested with a 2-year rotation in mind.

Still does not mean it should be in standard, stop white knighting for a company that does not care about you.

And that's not due to a 3-mana sweeper.

Doomskar was a foretell card, you knew it was coming, this **** should not be in standard, is doomskar still in standard? so why add something stronger if they rotated that out? And it didnt balance anything in the format, it is still an absolute dumpsterfire

My guess: because Standard aggro is too fast for anything costlier to keep it in check. Not an unbalanced card, but a card to balance the format.
And it's not even the first card like this. 3-mana sweeper? Ever heard of Doomskar?

broken rigged game when the 250 card decks that run every sweeper have four of these and play them and then straight into sunfall, this trash needs to be addressed.
