Banning Hare Apparent or token abusers
Ban Hare Apparent or cards that do crazy things with tokens. Baylen the Haymaker and other such cards just allow one player to basically play solitaire while the other player is forced to sit unless they want to concede the match.

“Any number of X” cards are pisspoor design, especially when included in starter level product design. You’ve encouraged lazy win-cons that are, as OP pointed out, essentially solitaire.

The solution is to add a rule stating that a triggered or activated ability from creatures with the same name can only be activated or triggered once per turn.
