Yes please ban this card! A shock should not shut down my whole deck it's rediculous. At least reprint a card like it that says a source an opponent controls. Not just shock it to auto win.

To clarify:
I meant that effect on the left side… (perhaps i am unaware of something here)
(Like the special effects cards planeswalkers can generate that stay on the left sidea- which is perfectly fine and deserved;)

I only encountered this nemesis card once, maybe the *cant gain life thing special card/ no life gain ability card that appears on the left side disappears when the nemesis is gone)

If that is the case, then - no worries;)

But if that *cant gain life ability perma-card thing* cant be destroyed, then i think a better solution would be to * create a canr gain life* enchantment/artifact instead…

Wait until you hear about all the cards that already exist to defend against it. Cards that exile. Cards that destroy. Cards that bounce. Cards that counter. Cards that block without dealing damage. Cards stop you from being targeted. Cards that remove the ability. There is no format in all of Magic's history where "my deck folds to a resolved Screaming Nemesis" is anything other than a lifegain deckbuilder's skill issue.

There, fixing the issue was pretty easy. You just have to actually play the cards that defend against it.

0 power with 4+ toughness creatures do exist en masse. As do destroy and exile effects. And damage prevention, and auras that stop it from atacking/blocking, or even turn it into something harmless. Be creative, solutions do exist.
