Knight of Grace gets target of Black Spell even though it has hexproof from black
In a standard ranked game my Knight of grace got killed by a "Go for the troat". It has hexproof from black. Go for the troat is a black spell.

Then your opponent most likely already had a Nowhere to Run on the field. That card is not just a removal spell, it also negates hexproof and ward.
