The Arena store is completely non-functional on Mac.
- To reproduce the bug: Trying to purchase anything in the store with money, or clicking on "change payment method", results in the spinning "waiting for the server" icon, which stays there forever and never resolves.
- I'm on Mac. A 2019 MacBook Pro, running Sonoma, which otherwise runs the game perfectly.
- The results are that I can't buy anything.
- I'd expect to be able to buy something with money.
- No point adding a screenshot of the "waiting for the server" screen, I assume you know what it looks like.
- Googling the problem lead me to a Reddit thread where someone said that launching Arena via the Epic store lets you buy things. This in fact does NOT work.
Come on, Wizards, I'm trying to give you money. I'd think if you want anything to work it'd be this.

Finally with the latest patch of today January 14 I was able to complete the purchase from the store leaving EPIC open in the background. We hope that this obnoxious bug of the store that only covered MACOS users has been fixed

With the latest patch of January 13, if you try to buy in the store, the STORE ERROR Unknow Error message comes out. Unlike before, the game does not freeze, press OK and return to the store

Until the release of Through the Omenpaths I was able to make purchases in the store leaving Epic open in the background but both with Avatar and now with the next release it no longer makes me buy in the store with the Mac. I am forced to make purchases through Iphone\Ipad that cost 10€ more than in the mac. it's crazy that in 2026 they still can't fix this bug

Same issue here (iMac).
When I try to purchase gems, the “Waiting for server” animation spins forever. If you press Escape, you can actually open the Arena options menu behind it, but the transparent “connecting to server” overlay never goes away and the payment pop-up never appears.It seems like the issue is that the payment pop-up never launches. I’ve opened tickets before, but nothing has been resolved. This has been happening for at least a year.
I really don’t want to install on mobile and pay the additional iOS store fee just to work around a bug.
This should be a high-priority fix for the dev team—it directly prevents players from making purchases.

I have the exact same issue. I want to buy gems. I click the button that says $19.99 and then the confirm purchase screen comes up. I click the other $19.99 button I get the waiting for server screen. I have tried on my iMac and my Macbook. Same result. Reinstalled on both devices. I am unable to give Wizards of the Coast any more money and they do not seem to mind. Buying with packs with gold works fine, but I'm getting run over by everyone who can spend money on the rares they need.
