Whenever you put 1 billion+ counters on a minion it can sometimes go negative cosmetically. This usually isn't a problem however with the latest update you can no longer unlock the achievement "count on it!". My own +1/+1 counter tracker is now at -2096031612/300 which makes it nearly impossible to get this achievement for the Vivien foundations altar.
