Disruption is not a viable option given the low cost of the combo, which leaves ample room to counter any potential countermeasures. A mana cost of 4 is absurd considering that it only requires a single card in the graveyard to trigger an infinite loop that ends the match while the opponent is left powerless, merely watching. This goes against the core principles of the game. The card has been banned in Standard but, for some unknown reason, remains legal in Alchemy. As a result, I now stall every match whenever I come across an Azorius Omniscience deck relying on Abuelo’s Awakening, in the absence of any action from the developers. Moreover, the frequency of such decks at certain levels is disturbingly high.

Apparently you saw long ago that the problem was Abuelo's enabling the terrible combo deck. Tie bad they took so long to do something about it.

Combo is part of the game. Disrupt the combo and you have it.

There are always going to be archetypes that will hose a deck you have. If you see the combo going off scoop and move on. No big deal. You can't win them all. I know it is annoying though.
Leyline of the Void will kill reanimation
Rest in Peace will too.
