Shrewd Negotiation working incorrectly
I just cast Shred Negotiation in the Kaladesh Remastered Premier Draft. I wanted to get an equipment of my opponent and give him one of my Servo Tokens. Instead he just got two tokens and I got nothing. Can you clarify what went wrong?

If the equipment was attached, you DID get control of it. but nothing about equipment makes it fall off when it is attached to a creature you don't control, that's a perfectly legal game state. But with taking control of the equipment, it is now you who can activate its equip ability. You want it gone from your opponent's creature? Attach it to one of yours.
