I had the token created from roadside assistance; I later cast unswerving sloth and the next turn I try to mount it with the token, but it won't be enough power despite the token states it can mount as if their power is 2 or more

And 1+2=3, not 4. The 1/1 pilot by itself can only crew or saddle something that requires at most 3 power. Unswerving Sloth needs 4.
