This occured against Nadu...
Nadu in play with 2 other creatures, lavaspur boots on the field.
Player equipped lavaspur boots to Nadu, nadu triggered...
Player payed the equip cost to equip lavaspur boots and targeted Nadu for the equip, triggering Nadu...
Player did this repeatedly...
Equipment needs a valid new target to equip does it not? This interaction just seems a cheap way to abuse Nadu imo

The target WAS valid. You CAN activate the equip ability targeting the creature the equipment is already attached to, that perfectly fine. The ability just won't move the equipment then, and its abilities won't get a new timestamp.
