Same just happened. I cast Negate on a Sheoldred's Edict cast by my opponent. While Negate was still on the stack they activated Mistrise Village, which made the Sheoldred's Edict uncounterable.

Can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet, this is extremely frustrating to play against.

Spends 2 mana to make spell uncounterable just to have spell returned to hand or exiled off the stack…
Leaving you in the same situation as if you didn’t have the land.. it’s a crutch card.

This bug really needs to be prioritized, as there are many people exploiting it across multiple formats. Matches involving these exploits are extremely frustrating.

Yeah, surprised this hasn't been fixed yet. Show&Tell in timeless is pretty broken with this.
