Better Offer copied one of my creatures instead of pulling from opponent's deck
When the spell resolved I was prompted to choose which one of my creatures on the battlefield to copy, which worked, and then no creature from the enemy's deck appeared.

That's because you got a Clone variant from your opponent's deck, and it entered as´a copy of one of your creatures.
