When playing my last quick draft game, I played a Lagorin, Soul of Alacria while having Max Speed, and Kickoff Celebrations in play.
I triggered the haste ability, from Kickoff, to then saddle Lagorin with one of the Magmakin Artillerists i had in play, but for some reason, I could not saddle before combat, but could saddle after combat.
