Mill bug
I was playing Final Fantasy Sealed. End of my opponents turn I milled him with The Water Crystal, he has no card left, one of the cards that just got milled is Dreams of Laguna. It has flashback and it is an instant so still on the end step he plays it and I lose. He should have lost but I did. This costed me 2000 gems. I was playing on my ipad.

My name is Lynn Reed from North Carolina, and I lost $603,000 worth of Bitcoin in a targeted SIM swap scam. Within minutes, my Bitcoin vanished from my Coinbase wallet, leaving me completely devastated and confused. I had no idea how something like this could happen so quickly or what I could do to recover from it. I immediately reported the incident to the proper authorities and explored all legal channels, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality of such a loss. Weeks went by with no progress, and I began to lose hope. Eventually, I got in touch with Morphohack Cyber Service, a reputable company specializing in crypto and digital asset recovery. Their team of blockchain investigators and digital forensic experts stepped in and worked tirelessly to trace and recover my stolen Bitcoin.
Thanks to their expertise, professionalism, and discretion, my assets were successfully recovered. I’m incredibly grateful for Morphohack’s help during one of the most difficult times in my life. I highly recommend their services to anyone facing a similar situation, they are experienced, efficient, and trustworthy. E-mail contact: MORPHOHACK@CYBERSERVICES. COM..... -

Ah yes that could very well be it. I don’t remember for sure all the creatures he had but I’ve seen this card and so it’s very probable that it was in this game that I saw it. Obviously I didn’t pay enough attention to it. Oh well, thanks for solving this “bug”. Must read the cards better aha

Ok. One more possibility, though. Laboratory Maniac (Vana'diel Adventurers) is a special guest card in the set. If he had that out, he would win instead of lose when trying to draw from an empty library. Did he have that card on the field?

No no there was no trigger, I didn’t lose any life points, nothing

Since you lost, I assume there was a trigger that went off to deal damage when he cast the spell? And such a trigger resolves before the spell. So the spell was still on the stack when you lost and your opponent never resolved it.

And he did try to draw. Dreams of Laguna makes you draw a card…
And in any case, even if Dreams of Laguna wouldn’t make the player who casted it draw (which it does), I still shouldn’t have lost on the spot when Dreams of Laguna resolved. I certainly had no reason to lose.

Having an empty library does not make a player lose. Trying to draw a card from one does.
