archmage's charm not working correctly
Was playing a brawl match in arena. I tried to use archmage's charm to take possession of a one drop artifact equipment that an opponent controlled. I was using Vivi, the spell resolved as Vivi did damage to the opponent, but I did not gain control of the equipment and it cost me to lose the game.

You DID gain control of the equipment. It just did not unattach, because nothing on the card or in the rules make it fall off. Have you attempted to use the equip ability? Because as the controller, that is now for you to use. But you HAVE to use it to attach it to one of your creatures. While the equipment stays attached to your opponent's creature, that creature will benefit from what it does. Though abilities inherrent to the equipment, like triggers from the Sword of [...] cycle, will now benefit you, even if attached to the opponent's creature.
