Bug with phantom train and Al Bhed Savagers
My opponent attacks me with a 14/14 Phantom train. I block with 2/3 Al bhed savagers, 3/3 demon wall, and a 1/1 token. The trample damage from Phantom Train brings my health to -2 and the game ends.
Should the trigger for Al Bhed Savagers (to drain the opponent for 3) resolve to bring my health to 1 before the game ended?

No, you lose before that trigger can even be put on the stack, much less resolve. After combat damage is dealt in the combat damage turn based action, state based actions are checked. Those inlcude destroying any creatures with lethal damage marked, and players losing the game for having 0 or less life. Only after that check and resolution of those issues are waiting triggers put on the stack. Or would be, if the game hadn't ended already for having only one player left.
Remember, state based actions are checked very frequently (though NOT constantly, for example not during the resolution of a spell or ability). Those checks are perfomed always
a) right before any player would receive priority before triggers are put on the stack, and
b) in the cleanup step
