Weftwalking interaction with X spells
Weftwalking does not allow cards to be played for a mana cost as the first card played in a turn, even though it is a "may" ability. I played Zero Point Ballad as my first card and it defaulted to a cost of zero, which killed nothing. I lost that game...

If Omniscience is in play or any other effect that plays an x spell without paying its actual mana cost that has x in it, it defaults to x=0. Carnosaur hits an x spell, put it in hand because it will do the same. Just an FYI
