Description:
I play MTG Arena on an iPad, but the game repeatedly forces me to re-download the additional 3.4 GB data package every time I launch it.

If I open the game from the app icon, it gets stuck on “Initializing localization database.” If I open it from the App Store page instead, it allows me to download the 3.4 GB package (about 25 minutes), after which I can play normally. However, when I close the game and return later (even the next day), the game does not retain the data and requires the full 3.4 GB download again.

Steps already tried:

Restarted the iPad

Reinstalled the game from the App Store

Confirmed sufficient free storage space

Used a stable Wi-Fi connection

The issue persists. Please advise if there is a known bug or workaround for iPadOS.
