Hand Placement Offscreen Bug
- reproduce - start any game, mulligan or not, look at "viewing hand" and "hiding hand" placement on screen
- iOS (post-patch Arena 19Aug2025), iPad Air 11"
- Hand is hidden off bottom of screen. When hand size is one, selecting hand becomes overly difficult because it is hiding behind the "swipe up bar" portion of the iOS screen. Prior to 19Aug2025 patch, the "hiding hand" position was where the current "viewing hand" position is. Graphical artifacts are showing at bottom of screen during hidden hand. This is not tenable for play.
- Expected results: hand is always visible when "viewing hand", including a gentle overlap over the top of the character's avatar. When hand is hidden, the tops of all cards are still viewable, often including mana cost (gets crowded with large hand size)
- This bug is submitted via desktop; bug is on iOS. I can't type out something this comprehensive on a tablet before the heat-death of the universe. No screenshots attached.
- No workaround found. Attempts include:
- delete and reinstall Arena
- use Arena self-patching/self-fixing button
- close and restart Arena
- Shut down and restart iPad
- double check to be on latest software patch for iOS.

I'm chiming in here as well. This has been ongoing for the last few updates. I figured it would go away with an update or two, but since it's still there and not even listed as a known issue, then the iOS team at Wizards must not be paying attention. In testing, this persists with a fresh new install on iPhone, two iPads, and Vision Pro.
Including three screenshots: the first two are right at the start of the game with a full hand where you can see the fully-recessed cards and the fully-raised cards. Clearly, the positions of each view are far too low on the screen. The third screenshot shows when a single card is remaining in-hand, which is much too difficult to tap and raise, as it's almost fully obscured by the life counter.
Please acknowledge. Then resolve. Thanks.

This item has been reported on bluesky, on reddit (/r/magicarena) and a temp fix (rotating the device to trigger autorotate to realign the screen) is a poor work-around for large devices.
