My opponent sacrificed a strip mine while I had Korvald, Fae-Cursed King in play but Korvald's ability did not trigger due to the sacrifice.

Your opponent sacrificing permanments won't trigger Korvold. Your opponent destroying your permanents won't trigger Korvold.
