Whenever you try to activate Shoot the Sheriff with available mana and a valid target, it says to target a non-Outlaw. Too bad the creatures were from Duskmoon and Bloomburrow.

Outlaw is a set of several creature types. It includes Pirates, Assassins, Mercenaries, Warlocks, and Rogues. Both sets have those.
