This seems to only be a problem with ranked matches. When an opponent decides the game is lost, they will timeout instead of playing and allowing the loss. I assume this is to win on the off chance your opponent doesnt want to wait to timeout. Please fix this, it is poor sportsmanship and the app does nothing to negate it. If you are using your time, you should be required to be interacting with the game and not letting it idle, "Still thinking?" prompt would be sufficient. If not replied to it drains the timer to a low value allowing for the timeout to be reached more quickly
