Liliana, Dreadhorde General -9 Ability
Liliana, Dreadhorde General -9 ability activated by opponent made me sacrifice lands, but my opponent did not have to sacrifice any lands. After activation I went down to one Mountain while my opponent kept 5 lands and the mana dork that let them cast it in the first place.

And why would they have to sacrifice anything?
"-9: EACH OPPONENT chooses a permanent they control of each permanent type and sacrifices the rest."
