Buster Sword kills own creatures when transferring it.
When transferring Buster Sword from one creature to another, it frequently kills the creature it leaves. I have not been able to find any effect text on the card that says this should keep happening. Is there a reason creatures keep dying when I unequip the sword?

Moving the Buster Sword takes away the toughness boost it grants to the creature. Since damage stays marked on a creature until it gets cleared in the cleanup step, it can become lethal by reducing the toughness this way. Thus the creature is destroyed due to lethal damage.
