Arcane Signet tapped for mana at instant speed
Arcane Signet should have summoning sickness the turn its played. I played a game where it was casted and used same turn, how exactly does that work if no other cards specify that artifacts have haste?

Only creatures are affected by summoning sickness.
If the Signet was somehow animated into a creature the turn it was put onto the battlefield, it would be summoning sick.
