Snakeskin Veil Combat phase
Please allow Snakeskin Veil to be cast during combat phase. I was not in need of the hexproof during this game but I required the +1/+1 counter to keep mossborn hydra alive for blocks. I tried to cast snakeskin veil during blockers step and the card dimmed as if it was a sorcery. I lost my hydra, the following turn I tried to cast it during attack step and again snakeskin veil was dimmed and unplayable. I am experiencing this issue on android. Additionally this portion of the site is not allowing me to upload a screenshot.

So in both cases it was not your turn? Then most likely your opponent did have a Voice of Victory, a Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, a Myrel, Shild of Argive, a Grand Abolisher, or any of the other cards out that do not allow an opponent to cast spells on their controller's turn.
