Mastery pass as preorder was an auto-buy for me, It was a fair sum to support the game with, and I was happy with the rewards.

I honestly don't like to purchase gems (feels like buying fiches in a casino), and other Bundles are quite overpriced in EU prices - you can buy GOTY 2025 in Steam for cheaper.

For the time being, I'll become a free player.

I always preordered the $15 bundle as well as the $50 packs bundle. I loved that I was able to save the $5 by preordering and getting some bonuses for it. Now I have to purchase $20 worth of gems to get just the mastery pass. I'm very sad by this change, as having the mastery pass gave me a goal to hit and a reason to log in and play every day. I don't want to encourage WOTC to keep making things more expensive and taking perks away at the same time. So for the first time in YEARS I don't think i'll be participating in the Mastery Pass.

Forcing everyone to pay double for play bundle is pure greed. Simply let everyone buy as many Play Bundles as they want for the original $25 if your goal is money. Don't see any other reason to make everyone have to buy the bundle twice.

I like the mastery preorder. You get more stuffs with the bundle. Having us spending money on gem to buy Mastery is a not bang for your money. Went from Preorder 14.99 mastery bundle TO buy 3400 gems for 19.00 for Mastery (no bundle). Bad deal I would say. I guess, I stop buying preorder packs, instead spend money on gems to get Mastery and grinding for packs and all other goodies.

Should introduce a discounted annual pass. Instead, make it more difficult to get. Bloody **** this is short sighted. If you really thought players were concerned over having to grind the results, make it easier to hit all the levels in the mastery ladder.

Please bring it back. It feels like not just a money grab but a mean spirited one. I won't buy the more expensive options and will just reduce my playing from daily to once every three days.
Time to go outside more or read books again.

Agreed. I can’t afford 50$ a go. I’m barely scraping by. I’m a student working part time. The mastery was already a luxury I felt bad about but it helped me build my collection faster. Now I just fell priced out.

rigged garbage game, 1 hour to get 4 daily wins, The algorithm is garbage, I hope they fire whoever implemented it.

Bring it back - that's the only thing I buy regularly in Arena. Probably won't be buying the Gems packs!

Price increases feel inevitable, but the explanation given for removing the preorder was insulting. This was my only real money purchase every set, but so much for that.

Honestly, I'm not sure the Mastery pass is disappearing, it seems to me it will be available later in the store, and not in preorder days.

The following article states: "All players receive rewards through Level 36, while players with the Mastery Pass will receive rewards up to Level 40 and beyond.".

Hence, the Mastery pass should still exist - I'm just guessing.

In any case, the news are not completely clear and this change was not well communicated.

I was excited for this set and was looking forward to actually investing the $15 bucks into this next shorter pass and now I refuse to spend more money on a shorter pass. This is a shame since I am not putting any cash into this game for any of the UB sets either. Bad timing all around.

The Battle Pass was a great value purchase and it kept players logging in for their weeklies so the queues could stay populated making you guys a service! What are you people at WotC doing?!

Was planning on grabbing the Lorwyn pass at $15. Now I think I'll just grab $15 worth of indie games from my Steam wishlist instead.
