I'm a relatively new player, started with the final fantasy set. Happily bought pass bundles before, bought paper cards along while playing on Magic Arena and spending on gems.

But with thoses changes, I will step back heavily on Magic Arena. 7 sets a year and 50€ preorder for each ?? Yeah, no thanks, that's just insane commitment.

The fact that as a new player, discovering magic 6 months ago and committing a good chunk of my hobby time on it, I already feel completely drained by the sheer number of sets, and the heavy prices of the preorder, should trigger alarms.

The funny thing about losing this is, before the pass bundle was removed, I was planning on suggesting it for a few friends who have recently picked up the game. Unfortunately, the best value option players on a budget had is now gone, and with it go the profits you could have made.

Im in a relatively poor situation with my finances, and the one thing i can convince myself was the 15$ bundle cause "Hey i do think im gonna earn myself good value going forward after getting this and i have a reason to do missions" Now without it, it feels like a slap in the face

I usually buy both the pack bundle and pass bundle on each set + the 100$ gem pack once a year or so.
I don't understand why suddenly it seems you want less money from me?
Is this a scheme of some kind to get me to buy the 100$ gem pack more times so I can get the pass for the same value as before? And so I have the urge to waste the gems in my account as months go by? Really underhanded strategy.

The pass is the primary thing I buy if anything on Arena. Losing it will lose my business further.

It really did not feel bad to buy the pass in advance. It was the only way in spent money on the game. I will not buy anything anymore now.

Kinda scummy ngl. With the rates for rares per money getting worst for physical cards, and this tactic to squeeze more money from the player base. It leaves a bad taste. Why is shareholders more important than customers? I bet the CEO supported the invasion of Venezuela

I’m retired, disabled-mostly bedridden, and on a fixed income. MTGA is something I can do to keep myself busy and my mind sharp. I learned to play at my LGS, so I could play paper cards with my daughter and grandson, yet Arena has grown into daily play. The entertainment certainly is valuable to me yet the price increase feels unfair. I try to save money by buying the Pass Bundle pre-orders. I don’t buy them just to “be first” or for the novelty of it. Please reconsider and present a lateral offer to last season’s Pass Bundle.

Please bring the Pass preorder back; I don’t have a massive amount of disposable income but was always happy to grab this preorder.

For the same reason, drop the Play bundle back down to previous levels. I’m not really a limited player but was happy to grab this one as well if the set was interesting enough (last one I bought was Tarkir: Dragonstorm). The pack bundle was always a very rare thing for me (hardest to justify).

As it stands, neither current bundle is feasible and with no Mastery bundle I have nothing to buy so no need to spend money on the game.

Please bring back the pass bundle.

I buy the Pass Bundle because it gives good value but also because it measures out the little bonuses for playing. It maintains my motivation to regularly engage with the game. I pretty consistently buy it, too. Without that...meh. I can take my time and money elsewhere. Elimination of the Pass Bundle is an extremely tone deaf move.

please bring back the pass bundles. i stopped playing arena during the first omenpaths debacle because i can't be arsed to learn the same set twice, and had considered returning for a "real" magic set. the pass bundle was the primary purchase i would make each set on arena, in addition to the play bundle (at its previous price), but with one of those gone and the other having doubled in price in addition to the promise of more omenpathing, idk when if ever i can see myself returning to arena.

Well that's 24CDN more in my pocket every set now. It's insane how tone deaf WOTC is.

bring back the bundle. it gets players engaged in the set, through the pass they spent money on

30 packs instead of 36 packs. No more Collector Booster sampler. Now this. We are noticing.

I don't play Limited very well, so the tokens I got from the Play Bundle I used as a way to introduce myself to the set. But now that they're charging double (I understand they're giving more too), it just isn't a bundle I need to buy anymore. I don't want to play Limited two times more. And to be honest, I never use the additional pieces that come with it. So, previously I was getting it to support the game I play, but at this price increase for things I don't like - it just isn't worth it. I would consider buying it again if they return it to $25, but the points I just made make me consider that might not even be worth it.

And then the Pack Bundle is nice to get a few more packs over just buying them directly in the store, but not so much that I have to buy it. It will be nice not to buy this bundle and have the glowing notification on the store icon for weeks that I can't do anything with.

They have lost a customer who preordered all three bundles (as well as buying gems and cosmetics) to a customer who won't preorder anything.

The pass bundle is a great value to all players
