Hexproof
Just had a dragon that has hexproof as long as it’s dealt no damage. Never swung with it as it came in tapped by the mono white authority enchantment. Opposing player cast bake into a pie keep in mind on a hexproof creature that just entered the battlefield tapped and it destroyed said creature. Pretty sure hexproof is it can’t be targeted by spells or abilities of your opponent. This has happened 7 times with hexproof creatures and caused me to lose each time so what the actual heck.

Like I said same thing has kept happening even had someone target a hexproof creature with swiftfootboots on them with an enchantment that was this creature gets -2-2 till end of turn. And that was the only text on it. No other enchantment out.

He didn’t zero enchantments besides authority and a 1/1 flying insect

That sounds like your opponent had Nowhere to Run on the field, an enchantment that neutralizes hexproof and ward. And is a removal spell itself.
