A change in 2025 (I believe) updated the "Apply Styles" button to include changing your basic lands. I always collect unique lands from each set, and I enjoy using them. Each of my constructed decks uses unique lands so that I can see these different styles in action. And, I also like having decks with multiple different basic styles in them.

However, now the "Apply Styles" button will always consolidate my lands into using a single basic land artwork. This makes the "Apply Styles" button useless for me, as I don't want to re-select my lands every time. So it's actually pretty annoying when I get a new alternate art for a card in my deck, as I have to remember what it was and manually find it to do the replacement.

So I was hoping to go back to the old way of having the basic lands to be ignored when trying to apply the styles.

And, I currently keep my favorite lands for limited or midweek events. So that I can always have a default set I like consistently.
