How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. App stuck on Retrieving Asset Manifest

    Mobile app on iPhone. Posted the same a few days ago and issue was fixed for about 24 hours.
    When opening mobile app loading screen is stuck on “Retrieving Asset Manifest” then “Error updating data”

    Have restarted phone, toggled Wi-Fi, uninstalled and reinstalled app. Same issue.

  2. Cant connect to server

    Still can't connect to server and have been trying all day! I tried turning my phone on and off, uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Nothing is working on my Google phone.

  3. Game chugging on slow hardware

    The game runs fine in the menu, but when I start to play a game the performance drops. And if I, or the other player, perform any action which creates a large number of animations the performance tanks to an unbearable level. If that happens, often the countdown timer runs down several times before I am able to input a response.
    Can you please add an option to the graphics settings to turn off animations?

  4. Asset Error Detected

    After the latest update, I can't get in. I get "asset error detected" message. I tried rebooting, uninstalling/installing (both Epic and MTGA), and tried connecting to a different wi-fi. Always the same error immediately upon entering. I'm on a macbook pro.

    Enter settings that allow you to disable animations.
    Specifically, the settings should allow you to disable the animations of: pet, saga cards, all animations in general

  10. Not getting gold from daily

    I'm not getting gold from trying to complete my daily quests before MOM launches on 4/18/23. I keep trying to cross the finish line but I'm not getting credit for it. My quest is to play 40 creatures and I'm stuck at 39. I've played well over enough creatures to complete the quest, but it's not happening.

  12. MTGA API

    Please enable an API to access user information by third parties, or to allow advance users to access through scripting some info (like the card collection since according to https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs-product-suggestions/suggestions/44050746-broken-logs-in-2021-8-0-3855 you cannot access to that through logs).

    I can't play ranked games. Whenever I click on the icon to play a ranked game the only options made available to me are non ranked "play" games. This is a new bug I have only experienced since the last update for android.

  15. Pact of Negation ability doesn't allow activated abilities to respond by default

    If you cast Pact of Negation and you don't have the mana to pay the "you lose" tax, BUT you do have an activated ability that will win you the game during your upkeep, Arena will by default not allow you to use the activated ability unless you lock in priority control on your opponent's turn.

    For example, you play Goblin Charbelcher. Your opponent casts an artifact removal spell on their turn, you counter it with Pact of Negation. You have 4 red lands in play. The turn passes to you, and you should be able to activate Charbelcher during…

  16. game stucked on checking for active matches. cant access anymore

    My game stucked on checking for active matches and cannot access anymore. Reinstall tried and it did not work. System not freezed, thus I suggest you to check the database and see if there is any issue on game status.

    repro steps:
    1. access game with my account
    2. game lunching and stucked on "checking for active games"

    expect result:
    1. game lunching successfully

  17. Show phases button in options (or pressing L) don't work

    When you set the game to show phases and go out of the settings, it doesn't show the phases still, and when you go back into settings it has unticked itself again. It does this over and over. Once you get locked into this bug, you cannot get the phases to show unless you force full control mode all the time.

    Pretty huge bug as it makes you unable to play normally.

  19. missing text

    After the scheduled maintenance today for The Brother's War release, I logged in to MTGA to find that all cards in my Collection and in the Store are missing the text for Card Name, Card Type, Power/Toughness.

    I'll log in later on to see if the problem still exists, but that's a bit of a bummer for a new set release to drop and I can't even play.
