How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Stuck in timeout when trying to log-in

    The game kicked me out during a draft and now it refuses to let me log back in.
    Keeps returning authentication error and showing a time-out message or gets stuck in "waiting for connection" / connecting to the server.

  2. An unexpected error occurred (error code -1)

    When attempting to login to MTG Arena I am greeted with the following:
    An unexpected error occurred (error code: -1).

    Platform is PC
    Unable to login
    Expect to be able to login

    Note: I erased the associated email address in the attached screenshot before screenshotting, but I received the error message when attempting to login with email/password

  3. bronze tier 0

    saw some other people had this problem but no solutions, stuck at bronze rank 0 and no way to rank up. any updates to this problem?

  4. Dwayne crashing my game

    I bought the Dwayne companion yesterday and now every time i open the companion tab or enter a match the game instantly crashes and closes.

  5. Undergrowth Display Error

    Cards with the "undergrowth" keyword are not displaying properly in the user interface. The client counts creatures with Disguise in the graveyard twice, leading to a higher number. For example, in my latest draft I cast Necrotic Wound on my opponents 6/5 creature. The UI displayed 6, indicating that the creature would get -6/-6 and kill it. However, the creature only got -4/-4 because I had two Disguise creatures in the graveyard. This directly led to me losing the game because I couldn't stabilize with a 6/5 on board.

  6. Visual bugs (sleeves etc.)

    Hi there!

    After a recent update I have started to experience several visual bugs. In matches, sleeves are not shown correctly and cards on the stack have a black background making the text less readable. The sleeve issue also exist in the store.

  7. UI completely bugged

    I honestly have no clue what is happening. As soon as a +1/+1 counter is put on anything, the card appears to get a billion of them, and the stack begins to never clear from the screen, and the board is frozen in whatever state it was in. In the attached example I have a ginger brute cast and on the battlefield, and I am attempting to activate the hoverbikes crew, even though it appears to be a creature (it is not a creature at that point, but it shows up that way).   9. game crashed when searching with terramorphic expanse

    The gameplay froze after searching for a basic land with Terramorphic Expanse. The ability appeared on the stack, I could click around, but nothing else happened in the game. I quit Arena and opened it back up, but it showed the home screen and no updates to my daily quest.

  11. impossible to play, game crash after update of the 27th February 2024

    impossible to play, game crash after update of the 27th February 2024.
    I have followed all the suggestion on the support page, lowered the settings, adjusted Nvidia settings, I don't have connection issues and always played arena with high graphics without any lag.
    I can access to the main page but if I click on the deck editor or I push the play button the game freeze until it blocks.
    Please fix or refund all the money I have spent

    Match froze during opponent's 2nd turn after assigning blocker; timer ran out, would not let me Concede or Exit the game.

  13. getting a bug while trying to update the lancher

    your suuport agent told me to post it here so whilt trying to uptade your lancher getting this eror(image), tyied uninstalling and re-instaling. this iusee is curently more then 24 hours.

  14. PC desktop crash after patch 3.26.2024

    after the patch, program crashes to desktop with any action.
    it will load the home screen.
    if i press play it will slow to 4-5fps and hover.
    otherwise it's a hard crash on the "connecting to server" screen.

  15. Sand covering the playing board

    I don't know what the board is called, but the board with the kind of Egyptian theme with the sand blowing across the board? The sand is on a layer above the cards on the board obscuring the cards. Not flying creatures though.

  16. Aetherflux Reservoir doesn't have a 'storm counter' display

    Often on Arena, when a card can have different values attached to it (be it delirium or actual storm) there is a helpful display that lets you readily see what you number you are at. This is not the case with Aetherflux Reservoir. To be clear, the card works fine, it's just that the UI can be improved a little.

  17. Add option to disable screen shake

    Whenever any damage is dealt the screen shakes violently. It makes me very sick and makes the game basically unplayable. If you think screen shake is absolutely necessary that's fine, but please give me an option to disable it. I have hundreds of hours in the game and I basically can't access it anymore

    There are a bunch of problems with this game -- some merely aesthetic but many accessibility-related. No ability to turn off animations. Cards zoom uncontrollably whenever you move your mouse over them. Can't read rules text on cards without zooming (why are they squares?). No ability to sort by color, cmc, type in deckbuilding. You have to drag cards to play them. Scrolling in collection is sideways and doesn't interact well with scroll wheel. No game log. Timer system is an anxiety factory. For people with a visual/reading disability this game is essentially unplayable. It feels like it was intentionally…

  20. +1/+1 counter inifnite icons, tanks performance

    Had a game where an opponent put a +1/+1 counter on a card. The visual counter icon added to the card, then again below it, and again over and over until it left the screen. Soon after my framerate dropped to 2FPS, suggesting the game was trying to render a number of counter icons approaching infinity. This obviously made the game unplayable. Log attached.
