How to report a bug

1.       Give us the steps to reproduce the bug

2.       Note which platform you’re using (PC, Steam, Mac, Android, or iOS)

3.       Enter the actual results you’re experiencing

4.       Enter the expected results of the feature

5.       Add any relevant screenshots/videos

6.       If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps.

 

Examples of bugs: Incorrect rules interactions, wrong event rewards, issues with client functions like creating decks

 

How to submit product suggestions

  1. Select “Product Suggestion” as the Category for your suggestion
  2. Enter your feedback
  3. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

 

Examples of product suggestions: Feedback on visual effects, recommendations for user interface improvements, new feature requests

  1. Alchemy decks are invalid in Bot Match

    New Alchemy deck with new Omnath and Goldspan. Go to a bot match to try it out, deck is invalid. Mouse over deck, says "invalid cards: 0"

  2. game crash

    the game crash and when I try to join the match, the game crash systematicaly I cannot select deck or anything when I click on play button.
    I have try to reinstall the game but the trouble still there

  3. Jump In event "Add to Decks" button doesn't work

    After selecting the packs for the Jump In event, i pushed the "Add to Decks" button. Usually it brings up a notification saying that the deck was added successfully. however since the 10/02/22 update, pushing that button does nothing.

  4. Can’t target creature with infernal grasp

    Lost game because I can’t target opponent creature manaform hellkite with infernal grasp. No hexproof on the field. Wtf Magic, every day this game gives me a headache to play. Why do I spend money on this again? Fix your ****.

  5. Koma can't stop planeswalker's from activating abilities

    Using Koma, Cosmos Serpent's first ability, you should be able to on upkeep tap a planeswalker and prevent it from activating it's ability. However, as I recently discovered on magic arena, you cannot. Your opponent can still use their planeswalkr abilities the turn you use Koma's ability on them.

  6. Two Headed Giant

    Something which my friend and I have repeatedly lamented is the lack of sufficient multiplayer options in Magic Arena. Currently Arena offers the capability to play private 1v1s as the only direct method of enjoying the game communally. While we do discuss our decks and current matches together, the lack of a format such as Two Headed Giant certainly hinders the ability to play the game cooperatively. Seeing as how this feature was present in Arena's predecessor Magic Duels, as well as the prior 2012/2013/2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers games, it makes Arena's lack of 2HG or private free for…

  7. Unlicensed Hearse is physically unusable on mobile with large (10+) number of exiled cards

    As the title says, tapping on Unlicensed Hearse with a large (12, in my case) cards exiled will expand/contract the "cards exiled" display underneath it, rendering the card's activated abilities (aka the entire card) unusable. I tried tapping various parts of the card many, many times, and none reacted differently.

    My phone is a Google Pixel 4a 5G, the display is roughly 6in x 3in, so my display is neither unusually large or small for a phone.

    I play games for fun. Screaming expletives at my phone on a train because my cards are physically not working in a tense…

  8. Alchemy what garbage.

    FIX the shuffler.

    Get rid of Alchemy(and If I'm not playing in Alchemy I don't want to see those fake cards in ANY of my other decks.)

    Get rid of those bs Arena cards.

    Arena is abomination of Magic in its current state. And you wonder why you can't get more Arena players LOL.

    The latest running Joke. "If you want to learn how to play magic completely wrong go play arena."

  9. 750 XP quest gave 500 XP

    I completed a 750 xp quest shortly after reaching a new level on my mastery path. My current xp is at 500, which leads me to think I was awarded 500xp rather than 750 xp.

  10. Defrost game freeze

    Playing on Android, I'm constantly dealing with game freeze or lag causing spells to "hang" on the screen and never resolve. In this game, my opponent's spell never resolved and the timer never ran out. How about you guys focus on these issues instead of all the unneeded animation and sfx? While you're at it, fix your shite "shuffling" algorithm. I've never seen so much land $crew irl games and I used to judge multiple events.

  11. Draft table bugged

    During draft, game stopped passing packs around pack 2 or 3. Stuck on table, closed and reopened the game and picked random cards for me but table still bugged. Restarted client draft ended.

    Please refund my gems.

  12. Server issues

    Prioritize server-related issues. Fix refresh issues when temporarily losing connection to the server (higher than stated planeswalker loyalty, lands remaining untapped, dead creatures remaining on the field, spell stuck in stack display, etc. ). Buy new, more efficient servers, and recruit developers. Feasible given this year's record profits.

  13. Shuffling

    The update today, 12/9/2021 has had me having 0 lands in hand after multiple mulligans. This is ridiculous. It's to the point where I'm putting down arena. There's no point in playing a game that resembles an EA based strategy. I'd rather go and play some knockoff online before putting anymore time and energy into this. It would be a different story if it was a one off instance, but I have consistently had 0 land hands mulligan in down to 2 before drawing a hand of all lands. Something is amiss and needs to be fixed.

  14. Brawl and Historic Brawl are broken and noone pays attention

    Historic Brawl and Brawl is supposedly a fun format that you get to play your retired cards, but also find home for all this otherwise junk cards that you open in boosters. This is not true, however. Due to the nature of 1v1, rather than multiplayer, everyone plays the most efficient and not the cards "to experiment". Commanders (like Kinnan, Niv-Mizzet) are incredibly OP. The algorithm cares for the commander and not the deck built. Summary, there is no room for casual games, as everyone plays hyper-efficient cards. Getting thoughtseized or duressed turn 1 is bad in constructed, imagine how…

    Day was active on my turn. I casted a Nullpriest of Oblivion kicked. A passed turn and it changed to Night on my opponent's turn despite me having casted a spell the turn prior.

  18. Scurry Oak & Heliod, Sun-Crowned Combo Timer

    For decks using the Scurry Oak, some life gain creature (typically Prosperous Inn-Keeper, Soul Warden, or Famished Paladin with some kind of enchantment or attached), and Heliod, Sun-Crowned, when they start their combo they are allowed to take as long as they wish to continuously make tokens and gain life. Rarely ever does their timer even start to count down, meaning that, if they wish, they could simply stall the game for as long as they see fit to keep re-activating their combo.   19. Report Function for roping intentionally

    Countless times in my experience (and I'm sure thousands of others experiences) has the opponent decided that they are losing the match or that it is not going their way. No one is a stranger to flooding out, getting mana screwed, or simply not finding the answers that your deck can provide and I understand this frustration; it is simply in the nature of a game where you draw cards at random and sometimes it sucks.
