1. Bad coding and glitches as well as hand drawing on this game is horrible.

   Someone needs to fix the coding and bug issues with the game. I'm a Veteran player and it's horrible how bad draws are and shuffling. I'm also SO SICK of cards freezing on stack due to lag or people exploiting it on purpose and the cheaters are horrible. Can't tell you how many times I should've won a game just to lose to people getting extra turns or casting cards without mana when they don't have cards that give them this option,or playing spells that they shouldn't be able to like casting sorcery spells as an instant etc. Or the game freezes and when you reload your stickers and emotes are unusable and your avatar changes. This along with the fact that it takes forever to get gold makes me want to quit playing unfortunately. Someone needs to step up and fix the problems with the mechanics as well. It's not right and ruins the fun. It's ridiculous how long these issues have been around and reporting it hasn't changed anything.

2. Fixed matches

   I love magic, it’s my favourite game. I have spent thousands on paper and hundreds on magic arena. It is such a shame how the game is tuned to milk every last drop of $$ out of people addicted to it. It has gotten really bad the last while, I haven’t spent $$ in a while on arena so the matches I play are fixed so I lose. If I’m playing a great deck and win 2 matches in a row, the next 5 matches are against decks build to win against my deck and only my deck, decks that aren’t popular and would only win against my deck. I see the same decks 5 times in a row so I tweak my deck or play a different deck and I never see those decks that were beating me again. If I make a deck that’s good against aggro, I never see an aggro deck. I play a deck that’s bad against aggro that’s all I’m up against. It’s such a shame wotc does this trying to make me spend $$. I won’t spend any more on magic until this is addressed and fixed.

3. Can't make shatterskull shatter have two targets on PC

   When I use shatterskull smashing I can't make it validate two target. I only have the option to validate the selection of a single target.

5. Settle the Wreckage not allowing me to target opponent.

   I lost a ranked game when Settle the Wreckage wouldn’t allow me to select my opponent. I’ve attached a photo to show this. My rank went down and I lost the gold associated with the win.

6. make magic arena redemable like mtgo I was spending freely and then i just stopped the second i found out no redemption...$1000's

   You need to make arena redeemable. I was spending and having a great time... then found out that its mtgo that has the redeeming... I just totally stopped spending. done didn't spend a cent more...but I'd be buying non stop every set if it was online and redeemable. id collect in the drafts and redeem for playing at home and at tournaments id buy enough for 4 to 8 sets...anyway if thats me then its the same for others... the arena plat form is amazing. add the redemption form and you will get so much more because people are going to want to redeem for sets and that is going to drive in cash right now people just draft a bit on line...buy some packs and buy their singles in the second hand card market... but you could be selling full sets nonstop all the time through redemption. it takes a lot of drafting to get a full set... and people will play and play and pay to make their full sets such an awesome way to give people the full experience... online and a full set of physical cards...

   I have no idea if you have policy on this but you need to rethink it through...even just trial it for one set and see what happens to the reach for it.... a set like this forgoten relms one.... that would be the ticket... huge...

7. Bug with Xanathar: Guild Kingpin

   When you cast Xanathar: Guild Kingpin in the second main phase whithout mana open to take actions, and the turn is automatically sent to your opponent, you don't get to see the card on the top of the opponent's library before the turn changes.

   The card drawn by the opponent on their following turn should be seen and known information.

8. Can't connect to server

   Since the update unable to get through to the main menu of the game. About half the time when I launch the game it just stays as a black screen, the other half it'll go through the loading and then stay on "Waiting for Server" indefinitely. I've tried resetting everything, DNS flush, reinstalling. I'm on PC.

   Before the update I was experiencing problems too - I could usually (not always) get through to play one single game, and then would be disconnected. Attempts to reconnect would be met with a black screen, or very occasionally an infinite "waiting for server". Restarting my computer sometimes but not always allowed me to get to the main menu again.

   Sales pitch: draft with friends for gold/diamonds. A causal format where you don't get win-streak rewards but get to keep the cards you draft.

   I'd like to play draft with friends and covid gets in the way. I'd happily pay for the privilege of drafting with friends over and over.

10. Ugin is an un-fun design cannibal

    Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is a design cannibal. Arena would be a more diverse and enjoyable game without him.

    Playing with him:
    
    Ugin undermines the design choices of the decks that use him. There are lots of very interesting top-of-curve spells that could be used in long-game decks. When Ugin was reprinted, the hard work and creativity that went into designing those cards was stamped out by one obvious 'best' solution. Ugin (and to a less offensive extent, Ulamog) are the best top end for virtually any long-game deck. None of these decks need Ugin, but all of them are best served by using him. So they are pressured to ignore the rest of wizards' design space in that area.

    Playing against him:
    
    Obviously, this is miserable. How many players see their opponent resolve an Ugin and think "wow this game is really clever"? The feeling is more like "Wow, my opponent has just exiled all personality from the game. Why am I playing this?" Worse yet, the feeling begins for many players as soon as they see that their opponent is likely to have Ugin in their deck. I'm not against sweepers. They're essential. But usually there's some way to play around them. Some way to diversify your threats. And Ugin isn't just a sweeper, he's a single-card inevitability powerhouse that can also one-sidedly sweep the board in a way that's uniquely hard to prevent. It's not fun to see, or to see coming.

    Anticipated Counterarguments:

    "But there's always a 'best' card! Ban or suspend Ugin, and ramp players will just play something else that's only slightly less busted as their finisher!" Sure, that's true. But I think Ugin is an extreme example. His inevitability is unmatched by any other card. And since he's colorless, he competes against every other card. There's nothing else waiting in the wings that any deck could play, and that does everything he does, but just a little worse. Remove him, and deck designs can't just replace him with 'Ugin lite'. He would be replaced by a variety of cards that would need to be carefully chosen to fit the deck they go in. That diversity would make magic better.

    Sorry for the rant. I like long games, but I don't want to play with Ugin or against Ugin. He invalidates a lot more than he adds.

    I had 25 / 1000 toward my level, I finished a daily quest worth 750 xp (lost the match, so no other XP was awarded) and now I am at 575 / 1000. (PC Platform)

    Daily gold rewards should be achievable in Direct Challenge mode, not just Play and Ranked.
    Much of the fun of playing Magic is playing with friends, but the need to spend time grinding for gold to keep decks competitive clashes with playing with friends.

14. Individually block out certain cards from decklists

    I would recommend, giving players the possibility to block out a set amount of cards for themselves and not be matched with decks, containing these cards anymore. Nearly every online game says, it's a reason for permanently deleting a player's account or at least blocking same forever, if they ruin other players fun. I've seen so many people playing only for their own fun, not caring for anyone else in this game. I don't want them to be blocked or punished. I just don't want to play against them anymore. If I play at a local store for some friendly matches with random people, I can state, I don't want to play against specific decklists. It would only be fair, to make it possible in MtG: Arena too, since not everyone is playing with passion or enjoying the game. That's why I think, it would be great, if a player could just select a fair amount of cards. 10 or 20, or something like that. I can't use these cards for my decks anymore, as long as they are blocked and if an opponent's deck contains at least one of these cards, I can't be matched with them anymore in every non-event game mode. Of course, if there are prices, people could abuse, restricting certain cards, but in Standard, Historic or Brawl ranked and unranked, I don't see a reason for not letting people customize their experience. If another player enjoys, playing against these cards, that's absolutely fine. They can block other cards or none at all. But if I can't enjoy matches against certain cards and are forced to play against them, only because this particular decklist is trending right now, or else would have to concede and so lose progress, I don't think, that's the intention of a card game, where literally everything is possible. Way too many people only scratch at the surface, instead of creating new decks and trying out new stuff. If some people wouldn't be matched with anyone anymore, because their decks only let themselves have a great time, maybe, they would start to try something new. That's only my oppinion, but I would love to have such a feature. It's not globally resctricting the creativty of people, but it would make the matchups individually better for everyone. And if some cards are blocked by nearly every player, people would understand, that these cards just aren't cool. It would definetly reduce the amount of frustrating matchups.

15. Give uncollected rares in Standard/Historic event

    Since the "Standard Event" and "Historic Event" cost gold, and the games are not easy (most people play tier1 decks there, or close to it), it would be nice if the rare rewards (for reaching 5+ wins) would be uncollected rare.
    It would make those events a bit more appealing, because right now it feels underwhelming to perform well in such an event, and not see any change in your collection (for people who already have a majority of the rares in standard).
    Compared to e.g. a draft where you'll likely increase your collection by a lot if you get 7 wins (in addition to making a profit on gem, which you do in both events of course).

    Or maybe an alternative could be to have the first rare be from the latest extension, to increase the chances of it not being collected yet (but this solution works only for the standard event, not the historic one).

16. Closing program is suboptimal considering how iPhones work

    I just spoke to an apple advisor as I’ve been having some issues with my phone. Something they mentioned is, scrolling up to close programs is essentially making them crash. So unfortunately, the default way for one to close your game is suboptimal. Please create a “exit game” button.

    Avec Dyna et le sang délectable, le joueur pose 2 cartes et la partie est finie, reproduisant un cercle infini entre le gain de vie et la perte de vie de l'adversaire. Sachant qu'on peut poser les 2 en un seul tour, un combo infini qui coûte 5 ou 6 mana seulement à poser me paraît un peu limite.

19. Achievement System

    I am copy-pasting this from a forum post I made. It's a bit long-winded but bear with it, please. :) Thanks and I hope you like this idea. I really think it's a way to bring in new players, help new players to be more welcomed to the game by a more diverse meta created by the presence of what I suggest.

    Now here. We. Go:

    So, Magic is great. (the current meta excluded)

    It's got the most depth, best gameplay, most interesting lore and longest run out of all the trading card games out there.

    Been playing it myself since it was released and have kept every card to this day (minus the doubles sold or traded or made into decks /starter packagers to sell over the years, etc).

    But online Magic is missing something that I feel is vital and would do nothing but add something good to the game - as well as potentially helping to fix the meta in the "Play" queue:

    No, I'm not talking about chat even though MtG is an inherently social game and it's ridiculous and indefensible that chat doesn't exist.

    I'm talking about achievements and an achievement reward track.
    Games like Elder Scrolls Legends and Hearthstone, both lesser games, have this function - along with a bunch of functions they ripped straight from Magic. Time to rip one back.

    Think about it - Achievements would give people a motivation to build other kinds of decks, play cards they might not otherwise play - this is a HUGE deal, because right now I personally have something like 20k cards and I cannot use the grand majority of them in a deck and still win vs the current meta on ANY queue - have goals other than "winning" for each game that they play. Having a wide variety of them would do a lot for the meta as you would see more and more people using decks to achievement-hunt. Sure, there'd still be net-decking losers looking to stomp on newbies but, I feel like it would lessen the burden by quite a lot.

    Not to mention the other positive benefits:

    A well-earned achievement during a match can take the sting out of a loss.

    Achievements give people a way to distinguish themselves and to have a "trophy" so to speak of their accomplishments.

    The achievements basically write themselves, as do the rewards. Titles that we can apply to our username, cosmetics, pets, special avatars / avatar variants / borders, special board items or life counters, just any number of cosmetic stuff, or even special cards for those really difficult achievements, or wild cards as rewards for the tiered ones.

    I'd be happy as **** to contribute to this project. A pipe dream as I have no game experience but I love fleshing ideas like this out and running with them. I hope that you do. Moving on...

    This idea just runs with itself and I would legitimately be shocked to learn that someone at Wizards of the Coast isn't already working on this.

    The negatives simply don't exist.

    Let's go, Wizards!

    This is truly the best thing that could happen to Magic right now and the only non-divisive solution I see to help the Play queue and to break up the meta.

    Some example achievements:

    Summon 100/200/500/1000 Zombies - Tier 1 reward: C zombie style choice Tier 2: U zombie style Tier 3: R zombie style 4: Mythic zombie style, Title: Deathcaller

    Summon Skeletons/whatever other types for cosmetic rewards - let you pick any one of the cards available for your cosmetic - different people will have different choices, or rather have their pick of say, ANY common Skeleton as an example - which adds to the cosmetic diversity of peoples' decks. Have a Title for each final tier i.e. Lord of Bones for skeletons and so on.

    Do X Damage to your opponent: 10,000/100,000/500,000/1,000,000 - different title for each as well as a choice of classic mana-associated companions for rewards (Serra Angel for white, Lord of the Pit for black, Craw Wurm for green, Leviathan for blue, Shivan Dragon for red, Chaos Orb for artifact)

    Counter X Spells: Tiered as above, titles of course ("The Denier")

    Destroy X Creatures, see above.

    And so on. There could of course be much more nuanced ones as well, like "play cards from anywhere but your hand" or "win the game with 1 hp" "absorb 100,000 damage personally without your life total changing", "transform x amount of creatures" etc etc. I meant it when I say these just write themselves. Looking through the cards presents hundreds of top-of-the-head ideas for these.
    There could be achievements based around playing decks that are story themed i.e. only include cards from one set or block.

    Some could reward special cards, Planeswalkers, etc as well. Can't call that pay to win as it would be based on achievements completed within the game, unlike the Mastery Track.

    There are just so many possibilities for this kind of system that I could post on and on about it and I'm not even a professional at this. It's a limitless, self-producing concept. See? I made some more off the top of my head:

    "Eye of the Tiger" - defeat an opponent who defeated you previously / same but in ranked - rewards: Title "The Champ" (cannot be attained playing a direct matchup with a friend of course).

    "Sleight of Hand" - Cast 50/100/200/500 non-land cards from anywhere but your hand. Reward: Cosmetics / cards, but final reward Title : The Conjurer and a rabbit in a hat pet.

    "Rise From Your Grave!" - bring 50/100/200/500/1000 creatures back from the graveyard to the battlefield - end reward? Title: The Necromancer and creature card that raises the dead (one that doesnt already exist and is only attainable this route - of your colour choice...though all variants include white, black, or green in their colour identity)

    This also presents opportunites should you choose to do as many players would like and bring branded Secret Lairs, like the Walking Dead one, to MTGA. IP team-ups could bring in tons of players from other fandoms and excite the **** out of current ones. Some ideas for achievements that include this concept:

    "They Mostly Come At Night. Mostly." - defeat 100/200/500/1000 any combination of horror and/or nightmare creature type. End reward: Now, this one would be nice to get a cosmetic reward for another card that is the titular Alien from the film / comic series replacing the card's art and lore. I don't have a card in mind, but I am sure there is something suitable. Maybe bring back Thrulls for this one, please?

    "Get to the Choppa!" - concede X number of times while an opponent has win condition on the board. (Don't know how you'd implement this, it's just an idea though - could also use it for returning x number of creatures to your hand)

    "I Ain't Got Time To Bleed"
    Win X number of matches while under 5 hp.

    Again, the end reward for this one would be nice if it were a cosmetic that replaced a card with The Predator. Maybe bring in "Kelsian, the Plague" to MTGA and have be the card that gets the cosmetic. Best fit off the top of my head. And I am sure there is a better achievement concept for this reward as well, but again this is stream of consciousness.

    and one last one before I stop rambling:

    "Pain Has A Face"
    - Do X amount of damage to yourself. As a reward for this one, I'd love to see Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose have a cosmetic that turned him into Pinhead, the **** Priest from Hellraiser. Clive Barker is an excellent collaborator.

    I am copy-pasting this from a forum post I made. It's a bit long-winded but bear with it, please. :) Thanks and I hope you like this idea. I really think it's a way to bring in new players, help new players to be more welcomed to the game by a more diverse meta created by the presence of what I suggest.

    So, Magic is great. (the current meta excluded)

    It's got the most depth, best gameplay, most interesting lore and longest run out of all the trading card games out there.

20. Righteous Valkyrie not Flying and can't be targeted

    Fix the bugs. Attached is a freaking bugged angel that
    1-is not floating while having flying
    2-animations are bugged to hell
    3- I obviously can not target the creature despite another copy next to it being able to be targeted.
    Bug cost me the round. We pay for these events and this is what we get.
