Duplicate protection not working

I had a challenge which would give me a Mythic red.
I already have maximum copies of Mythic red cards.
I don't have any of the ones with moving images (foil cards?).
I also don't have many multi colour cards where red is one of the colours.
Once I completed the challenge I got a 3rd card of Spawning Hellidon.
I would expect to get a card that I don't already have,such as a foil card or a multi colour card where red is one of the colours.

    As a similar situation with me. I bought a level 30 duplication protection pack. And I still getting duplicated cards. So I believe it is a fake offer acting as click bait
