Every time I try to say “good game” at the end of a match or “wow” when my opponent has a sweet card, the emote it sends is something inappropriate for the context and it reads like i’m being a jerk. “We’ll deserved!” is a terrible thing to say when my opponent scoops to lethal but it was a good match. “That’s more like it!” is totally patronizing. If gamers want to be sassy they will find a way to do it with any kind of emotes whatever. But it’s impossible to have good sportsmanship with jerky emotes.
