If you need to file for reimbursement because your issue impacted a Magic Online event, please fill out our Request Reimbursement  form instead.

Before You Create a New Report


Before you create a new report, please enter the issue in the Issue Title field below to see if your issue has already been reported. It is a good idea to limit this to a few key words, like a card name or specific feature.

Example:  Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t bring up results, so use Shivan instead of Shiv)

If your issue has been reported already, click the vote button so that we know you've experienced that bug as well. You can also leave a comment if you'd like to add to the conversation about that bug or provide additional information you think might be useful. 

For New Reports


If your bug has NOT been reported, then please update the Issue Title field to represent the problem you encountered.

Example:  Shivan Dragon’s ability doesn’t work

Choose the Category that matches where the problem was.

Use the Describe Your Idea field to describe what happened.  Please use the following format:
  1. Summary of the problem
  2. A list of steps that led to the problem 
  3. The actual result
  4. What you expected or should have happened
Example:  

Shivan Dragon’s firebreathing doesn’t work.  Steps are:

  1. Attack with Shivan Dragon. 
  2. After it is blocked, try to pay 1 R mana to give it +1/+0
  3. Actual: It doesn’t get +1/+0 and stays a 5/5
  4. Expected: It becomes a 6/5
Finally, upload any screenshots or other information you might have that will help us investigate.  If you receive an error message that your attachment did not upload, please check to make sure it is smaller than 50 MB.

  1. Redeem code Activation doesn't work from mobile

    If you try to redeem a code from a mobile device browser (ex. ios 14.7.1 iphone 11 ) the site registers it as already used and kicks you out of your profile.

  5. order is stuck at the "RECEIPT AND ORDER CONFIRMATION" step

    Hi, i was trying to buy the MTGO Upgrade Kit, and the Order is stuck at the receipt and order Confirmation step. It isnt the first time that happend, and i have yet to actually get the kit. Im trying to pay via paypal and according to my paypal account there hasnt been a transaction yet. Still i would like to upgrade my account if possible and paypal is the only option for me. Any help would be appriciated.

  6. Cant pay with Paypal

    I tried to upgrade my MTGO Account to a regular one, but i cant pay via paypal (the only option available for me). Whenever i try, it either gives me an error in the screen after paypal and tells me to restart MTGO, or i get to that point and nothing happens. MTGO doesnt register my transaction and paypal doesnt as well so it seems that they dont take place.

  7. Welcome bundle disapeared from the store ( the pack with 2500 gems and 5 pack)

    I wanted to procedd to my first buy in the game, but the welcome pack is no longer in the store.

  8. Can't finish the registration of my personal information

    Hi there, I just created a brand new account and planned to upgrade it right after the first login session. But for some reason on my personal information option at the menu. The only option that is needing me to complete the official registration is locked, I can't click or type the state that I live in.

  9. Upgrade MTG Online account problem

    I have tried to upgrade my MTG Online account to premium. However I cannot submit my address details. I can fill out the details, but the program does not let me continue to the payment process. I have also tried to update my address details in my Account details. This won't work either. How can this be fixed so I can upgrade my account.

  11. WHEN DO YOUR SALES END? aaagGGHHH

    I have played since alpha. Love the game, big supporter in real life for years prior arena... But ive had ONE big issue.

    Any of your anthology series would NEVER have an "end" date. Even now, i researched like crazy (As every time goes haha) same thing though, no end date. Your websites ONLY give us the day its coming out. Im sure many people are annoyed with this too.

    It's the same thing with your cosmetic sales.. only info we get is its release date. Never end.

    Example. I could have 10k gold, something costs 20k on the date…

  13. Strixhaven Redemption Request (Standard) has a Typo

    In the details section of the "Strixhaven Redemption Request (Standard)" product there is a typo that refers to the set being redeemed as "Throne of Eldraine".

    Steps to view this typo:
    1: Open MTGO Store page
    2: Navigate to "Redemption" Sub Page
    3: Click on "Strixhaven Redemption Request (Standard)"
    4: Scroll down to the "Note:" section that advises about shipping fees
    5: Observe that it reads "This Redemption Request is for a physical Magic: The Gathering Throne of Eldraine set..."
    6: Expected text would be "This Redemption Request is for a physical Magic: The Gathering Strixhaven: School of Mages set..."

    Secret lair codes give error, "We're sorry, but this promotion is currently unavailable or has expired." The code was for the Kaleidoscope killers drop.

  19. Ticket purchase failure

    Four times this morning, I have tried to purchase 100 tickets. Each time, I get all the way through until the order confirmation screen, which just hangs. Needless to say, I have never received any tickets.

    P.S. If you see 4 transactions from me today, I only want one to go through.

  20. Cant trade

    I have an old account that i just reactivated after a LONG number of years. I can't trade with anyone. I made a new account, for my kid, and neither can he. If i can't buy cards I'm uninstalling this game.
