Metamorphic Alteration not overriding triggered abilities on enchanted creatures.
When cast on a target creature, Metamorphic Alteration should copy the
copiable attributes of the chosen creature to the enchanted creature. This appears to take effect; however, the triggered abilities of the original (now enchanted) creature are still being placed on the stack and resolving as if no enchantment had occurred.
Steps I took to reproduce bug:
- Creature cast with Morph to produce a 2/2 face-down creature.
- Metamorphic Alteration cast targeting Kami of the Crescent Moon and choosing the 2/2 face-down creature as the creature to be copied.
- Spell resolves, and Kami of the Crescent Moon becomes a 2/2 Morph creature.
- On my next turn, during my draw step, the triggered ability associated with Kami of the Crescent Moon processes even though it shouldn't.
Files attached are screen captures showing board state before casting MA, after casting it, and when the trigger processes. Note that the trigger when processing does not show what card has put the trigger on the stack. The game log shows the triggered ability is from "Morph". Also attached is a video capture of the event.
