To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Game tracking: No clear end
App needs a clear way to end tracking (life totals and stuff) as going to "game setup" isn't very intuitive to accomplish this. In addition it be nice to be able to show a player as "out of the game" when they've lost when their is more than 2 players.

Pointless Home screen
The home screen serves no purpose. Either removing it or add something to it. You could make it a dashboard for other things, news, events, option to jump back to active game, lots of options.

Bug/Fix: Missing card backs
Some card with backside are missing images/oracle. Meld, disturb, saga to name a few are missing their backside card from the database.
Examples:
Gisela, the broken blade

Notification ads
Having the companion app, which is now basically required for organized play, use notifications for ads feels intrusive. I have notifications allowed for pairings, turning that off when I'm not playing events will get tiresome.

Partial Search
Would love to search card database by partial name or “starts with”, like if trying to search all cards whose name starts with a particular letter.

RANKINGS SYSTEM / STANDINGS HISTORY
Hello, I recently got to download the companion app for the first time for March of the machine pre release and was very impressed how smooth it made our tournament.
That being said I wish there was an option to see our history of standings after the event has finished.
(Showing personal results / leaderboard history of all attended events)
I also think the points you win from tournaments/local events should add to a RANKING SYSTEM. This ranking system could work like the ‘battle pass’ model or simply as a competitive ranking of people locally/regional/worldwide.

Please allow different orientations for the life counter
There’s no way I’m letting anyone else touch my phone and it’s very difficult to track my opponents life (and especially poison) UPSIDE DOWN.

Sideboard Bug - iOS
On the weekend i am only able to play on my phone. While doing traditional, the graveyard is never responsive to touch during sideboarding due to a transparent black bar at the top of the screen, so i can not look at my opponents deck and make decisions accordingly. This is very frustrating because sideboarding is a huge part of traditional. This is always the case when playing on my iphone 12 mini. Please fix the overlay so this is no longer a problem. Thank you.

Card database
The card database should include new cards at minimum by the prerelease. We opened unreadable cards written in phyrexian and couldn't look up the oracle text

Better option for companion life tracker
Everytime I play Magic, I use life tracker in Companion app.
It's so neat and easy.
But sometimes I confused opponent's life when it's 6 or 9 because it's upside down for my sight.
So, my suggestion is simple.
First, when life is 6 or 9, underline the number so anyone can recognize a correct direction of number.
Second, add a option for verticalized view.
Mostly I put my phone beside the battlefield. I look at it sideaway.
If the life number is rotated vertically, I and my opponet feel comfortable.
