To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Round timer
Add the round timer to the players playing the round that is tied to the hosting round time in order for the players to know what the time frame of the round in without having to ask the event organizers

Full name of players on Android.
Why do full names show up on I phone but not Android... This is for pairings....
25 votesThe issue causing player names to appear in truncated form in the Magic Companion app for Android users during matches has now been fixed. Thanks for helping to bring this to our attention! Update to the latest version of the app to see the fix.

add players to a tournament in between rounds
Last Sunday a player who wasn't planning on participating showed up. We were in the middle of round one, and I couldn't find a way to add him with a Game loss.

Error 412
Every event for the past two weeks get this error . I’m unable to see matchup or seating . After the error the app freezes and I have to crash it .

Life-Long Player Paper Concerns
As I said I have been playing Magic: The Gathering for 11 of my 27 yeats of life and I have no intention, plans, or inclination to quit playing high end, competative Modern MtG in paper, Ever. The digital experience is awesome but The Gathering has always been more real than Magic.
I want to see a return to Player Rewards in the form of currency that is earned by attending sanctioned events. These points could be treated a number of ways but what makes sense to me is centering the point structure around FNM, the most common, casual, new-player…

Expansion
So in the gatherer feature there is the expansion option. The only problem is that it needs the 3 character expansion code. Come on. Nobody knows that. If I want a Guilds of Ravnica card, I should be able to put that. It is a huge inconvenience knowing what set but not the three character code.

Public names rather than alias / Arena user option
There should be an option to be listed by name on Wizards account OR alias on Arena. At the moment the only way to pseudonymise is to go to the host tab and change name in there. Which is unintuitive!
Besides store FNM and Grands Prix there is no reason to divulge our actual names where possible. Isn't this a GDPR/personal data issue?

Add a menu option to drop from any event.

Advanced Search: Include all formats.
Advanced Search: Please, include all formats (paper and digital) in order to find, for example, cards that are exclusive in the historic. So we can build our decks away from PC when needed. Thanks.

Companion App Crash Contining Hosted Draft
Created a Booster Draft 8 players BO3 unlimited timing, app crashed immediately upon pressing continue after seeing draft seating. Uninstalled and reinstalled app, hard reboot on phone.

Coin flip
Coin flipper needs to show heads tails before the flip or show heads tails clearer. Also should be able to skip animation by clicking again to jump to result.

Add DCI number
It would be a neat feature to attach a DCI number to the account and show choice of username (default) or real name on the companion.

Dice roll
I think it would be great if there was a dice roll function! It could appear next to the “coin flip” function. Would be useful in game for things such as Crystalline Giant, Un-sets and other random effects. It would also be great for deciding who gets to start in bigger Commander games!

Apostrophe in search
If you search for angel’s you don’t get angel’s trumpet. My guess is it’s handling i single quotes wrong.

set symbol insted of 3 letter codes
the three letter code of this card is harder for players to know then the set symbols

Host can't add people to pre-release after event starts
I think players should be able to join an existing event, namely pre-release, after the the event has started, especially if players are only in the deck building phase
3 votesLate registration is indeed available! WPN stores and staff should use the EventLink website to late register players in their events.
Late registration is currently enabled in Sealed Deck and Constructed events.

Receive an Error When Trying to Set Name
Recently updated my wizards account to include my first and last name. Was not able to log into companion to join events at my local store and really want to be cool and not run to the judge table to find assignments for rounds. When I enter my name into companion it says sorry.
