To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Wrong German translation for “Defeats”
Wrong translation of “defeats” in the result page of the companion app. It should display “Besiegt” instead of “Niederlagen”.
After entering the results, the companion app displays the results as “<Player A> Defeats <Player B>“, which is translated as “<Player A> Niederlagen <Player B>“.
While “Niederlagen” is a valid translation of “Defeats”, it is rather in the meaning of “losses”. So on the german app, this reads as “<Player A> Losses <Player B>“, which does not make much sense and is confusing.
A better translation would be “<Player A> Besiegt <Player B>“.And please let a native speaker check your…

Event match result history
It would be great if there was an option to review your previous event match result history. Like to give players there own event database.

Card images since MID are lower quality and the file sizes are much larger
Ever since the release of Midnight Hunt, the images that appear in Companion are considerably more pixelated than from Ixalan foward, and they load a -lot- slower over cellular.
It took me a while to figure it out, but I think it's because instead of being JPGs (with white corners), they are now much larger PNG files (with rounded corners). Digging around on my phone seems to show that each image has gone from being crystal clear at ~200KB to being pixelated and harder to read at ~800KB.
Consider going back to JPEG and rounding in Companion or switching to…

Event
I have an event that has been completed for a while now, has been deleted by the TO but I can’t remove it from my app. The option to “drop from event” shows up randomly, but does absolutely nothing when I click on it.

Island "Not Legal in Pauper"
In the card database, Island is listed as not being pauper-legal.

Feedback
If your app register the details of the current tournament, why the app is noy keeping track of past tournaments? I would love a feature that shows me the average win percentage or at least the results of previous events.

Historic Legality has several issues on Companion
Historic Legality is pretty arbitrary, but the recent addition of it to Companion's card database features a number of missing cards, missing sets and errors. In order, after a cursory check:
-Jumpstart: Historic Horizons is completely missing, which is problematic since it features some of the strongest and most played cards in Historic, from Dragon's Rage Channeler to Thought Monitor.
-Partly related, digitally exclusive cards are missing from Companion, be them from Jumpstart: Historic Horizons or later Alchemy sets, yet they're legal in Historic. Probably should be around if it's a supported format. (But then probably would have to have…4 votes -
'Round is Paused' Error
The companion app on iOS tells me the event is paused when I’m not in any event just trying to use the tracker for life score.

Card search treats "10+" as "11"
Searching for mana value, power, or toughness using the sliders on an android phone, choose "10+" as the upper bound, and 10 as the lower bound. Expected result: cards with the mana value, power, or toughness of 10 or greater are returned, respectively. Actual result: only cards matching with those values as 10 or 11 are returned.

Companion Host
Possible to host manage events through app. I can now only add players through eventlink in the browser.

Incorrect Oracle text
On many cards, the Oracle text are inaccurate, from minor to great degrees, comparing them to Gatherer.
Wanting to use the app to check for Oracle text on older cards can’t be used with that.6 votes -
Ability to remove tournament from home screen
The tournament host option does not provide an easy way to remove tournaments. I accidentally hosted a tournament that I cannot get rid of because I cannot start the event without other players. There should be an option on the home screen to swipe and open up a delete button.

Estadistics
Dear Wizards, I really would like to have a register of my games and Encounters in Companion. Also that could be helpful to track my own stadistics in the game. I usually play a standar event in my local store and we all think that we like to have a historic archive of our games.

Round Start Notifications still sent after Dropping
After dropping from an event (via TO) notifications for the next round are still sent via push on Android. Companion app correctly identifies my status in the event as dropped, but notifications continued for all of the remaining two rounds of the event.

Make companions watermark search list-based
Not a bug or anything, but I think the function of searching by mark could really use some improvement. With the new set being out I wanted to search for cards with the Brokers’ watermark, but none showed up. I had no idea why, since you search by writing the name rather than picking from a list. I still don’t know whether that mark isn’t put in yet or if it has a different name. I tried a few others, and only about half worked. This issue could probably be fixed by just making it a list like with the…

Allow team name for team events
Allow team name for team events.
For team events such as two headed giant and team trios, allow players to be able to submit a team name for their team. ♡

Error: Sorry! We are currently experiencing issues. Please try again later.
Companion doesn't Allow me to join events. It asks for my name and then gives me the error message in the title. This happened at an in store prerelease on Saturday and is still happening today. I'm on an android phone ( ver 9). I've restarted the app, updated the app, and restarted the phone, but nothing changes.
