To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Tiebreakers
I am 2-1 alongside another person, we have identical first row tiebreakers, second one GW i am 20 better, yet I am below him in the standings. Explain.

Companion App incorrect filtering & slow
Companion app has completely incorrect results when searching for cards where CMC == 0.
The app (Android) is also very slow to load assets at the beginning of the experience -- especially when compared to Gatherer. If anything, please just stop forcing a banner to switch to the companion app whenever I open Gatherer. If it continues, I'm just switching over to scryfall and not looking back.

Rotate life total
Rotate life totals in the life tracker 90 degrees and 270 degrees so that I can put my phone on the edge of the table and have both players see both life totals easily (and so they are facing the same way).
The life totals are geared to show each player their life total but it is just as important to see my opponent’s total and when it is upside down it adds mental strain that wouldn’t be there is both totals faced the same direction.
This might not work as well for multi player games so maybe add it…

Upgrades
My suggestion is that the card search should be able in multiple languages, also it would be really nice that it shows the probable result with partial words (so if you don't remember exactly the name you have a hint)
Other suggestion is to put the search bar in the results of the card, just in case you want to look for another card, and don't have to go back5 votesGreat suggestions! We’ve got many of these on our backlog and will be rolling them out in the future.

Mdfc flipping in card database
I didn't check all mdfc cards, but when I looked at Extus, Oriq Overlord the button to flip to the backside did not work as intended.

Power and toughness search doesn’t work properly
Power/Toughness slider doesn’t work properly.
I tried looking up creatures with a power toughness =13
I dragged both sliders all the way to the right
It displayed only creatures with power toughness = 11/11

Please add the ability to play multiplayer commander format in the companion in a sanctioned way and under the wizard rules

Giving wrong text for card.
The advanced search was set to creature, exactly red, and Limited Edition Alpha. Each card I looked at had the oracle text for dragon whelp. I don’t know if this is and issue for others, but this is for me. (I’m on an iPhone if that helps)
2 votesThat is a weird one, but it’s working correct for our testers. Can you clarify some details? What iOS version are you using? What is the type of iPhone? And what is the version of the Magic Companion app you’re using?

Card Database Feedback
I would like to comment on a number of things in the new Card Database. (FYI, I am using a Samsung Galaxy S7)
Issues:
- In the advanced search, I personally find it too easy to accidentally activate the "mana value," "power," and "toughness" sliders. Maybe you could make it so you have to tap on the orange dots to activate these search fields.
- The database seemingly has a hard time loading large amounts of DFCs and split cards (only the DFC/split cards have trouble loading; anything else in the search loads as usual).

Some cards for example Angrath, Minotaur Pirate are not in the database or don’t show up in a search.

Je pense que beaucoup de joueurs vous remercie pour les jeux que vous nous proposez et vois le temps de travail que vous faite pour toujours être autant créatif.
Mais je voudrais revenir sur votre application Companion que les joueurs de Magic doit sûrement utiliser. Votre application est bien faite, que ce soit pour de l'organisation de partie ou les points de vie. Mais je pense que vous pouvez aller plus loin pour la recherche de cartes, comme par exemple pour la langue. Hola, sería una buena opción que companion tuviese historial de eventos, como ya sucedía con la web del DCI.

View different versions of a card from the same set
When look threw newer cards and I come across one with an alt-art/borderless, that’s the only one I can see of that set. It would be nice if in the set occurrences list, there would be separate options for main and special art cards. (ex. Abundant Harvest would have MH2(1) for the main and MH2(2) for the special art)

Round timer disappearing
Android user here. Attempting to host and play.
When beginning a new event with the round timer enabled the timer appears in the event pairings area as normal.
Affter entering the life tracker or another screen and returning to the event Page to report the round timer disappears and no way to get it back without starting a new event.
Attempted to proceed to next round, timer does not reappear either.2 votes -
Game/Match Result in life tracker
Can we add some sort of match tracker for best of 3's in the life tracker? Or some sort of "winner" report to end a game/match instead of just "reset"? Even better if it reported results directly from the life/match tracker to the tournament host device directly.

“Historic” isn’t a filtererable search option
If I want to net deck in my spare time I can’t use the card database to build a historic legal deck because historic isn’t a format option, can we make this happen?

Translated cards
Please add card text and rulings in translated form. Specifically Spanish. I've been on a few billingual matches and an official translation on the companion app wouldake things so much easier!
