2. Bug and Feedback

   I encountered the Issue on Steam/PC
   I was playing with friends
   I was playing as Bruenor Battlehammer

   Problem: During combat my friend was playing as Drizzt and was immobile after being revived. He could not move, use abilities, or items. I managed to have him lowered to zero hp but he was still standing and was not able to be revived nor could he respawn. This was on the Halls of Dreuner (Sorry if misspelled) mission.

   Feedback: My main critique is the way you join matches and that you can't join mid-game. So if my friend gets stuck, which he did, he can't leave and then rejoin. The lobby system cold be refined a bit more for easier in and out transitions.

3. Lost a level

   My son and I were playing earlier, I was level 8.5 and he was level nine, we completed a dungeon run and he leveled up to 10 and I was right before 10. But when he returned back to Kelvin's Cairn It reset his level to what it was at the beginning of the dungeon and he was level nine and I was now higher than him, we thought it might have been a visual bug, but when we ran the next dungeon he got experience as if he was level nine.

4. Co-op lag

   First, I want to say I like the game at its core, and with a few fixes it will go from good to great!

   But, I played online with a friend on the PS4 today, and the lag made the co-op experience almost unplayable. We played as multiple combinations of the characters. We would lag on each other's screens, the enemies would lag, and our attack commands wouldn't be processed. We both have excellent internet connections, so we know the issue wasn't from our end. I've heard similar complaints from almost everyone who's played.

   Please fix these lag issues! I know a lot of hard work went into making this game, and I want to see it shine (especially as a long time fan of D&D and Icewind Dale). I love the loot system, combat, narrative, etc. But without a fix for the online co-op issues, it won't be worth it.

5. Left Click Basic Attack is Unresponsive

   4. Basic attack with left click is not responsive. Most of the time, a second click is required to execute the attack. There are instances when it is not responsive for a few seconds.

6. All the money coins and armor pieces have disappeared.

7. Bug While changing skins of a weapon

   While playing solo I just got back to camp to upgrade gear, I was changing my bow skin on Catti-Brie and it kept making my damage of my bow go up and down as I switched between different bow skins.

8. Gray screen of death

   I got my first legendary and encountered a gray screen that only let me see an occasional red outline of a boss. I have the game clip saved on my Xbox Series S if you're interested in seeing it. Lost my first legendary and feel like never playing this game again although I do understand glitches occur. It would seem less likely in a linear game like this than in an open world like Outriders. Which I was very forgiving of and support to this day. I like to imagine how hard writing code for these complex games is, however Vermintide is literally the same game with an upgrade tree and didn't have these issues. Oh well. That's my two cents. 9. Infinite loading after death

   Notes:
   1. I encountered this issue on [PC]
   2. I was playing [WITH FRIENDS]
   3. I was playing as [Wulfgard]

   Steps:
   Death of the group

   Result:
   The game loads infinitely, which forces to redo the mission from the beginning (after 40 minutes, it hurts)

   But we have control of our character, we even hear the monsters killing us during the infinite loading.

10. Unlimited loading

    Hello Devs,

    We dying in same times and going to loading screen, after few seconds we can hearing the game and taking our character control but we always have a loading screen... If we die again we have another loading screen and this time it's unlimited without game sound and no more character control. We had this Issue on each 3 sessions.

11. Blessing of the Tempus

    Blessing of the Tempus feat doesn't calculate correctly. It also doesn't apply to Necrotic resistance whereas items with "elemental resistance" does so there is inconsistency.

12. Attribute bopnus in co-op seems bugged.

    Online co-op - Friend/brother playing as the dwarf Bruenor
    Steam
    Version 1.15.63

    Lost attribute point awards for Cattie Brie and Wulfagar - 24th June 2021

    Cattie Brie:
    My Brother invited me over steam through friends only and we played: Companions of Icewind Dale-Act 1: Goblins at the Gates. Upon defeating the boss it stalled at the loot screen then sent me back to the trapped empty arena. My Brother was back at base camp. I could access my status menus as if i was at base camp but i wasn't. Start button brought up as if in teh mission and would not let me go back to camp. I had to force restart the game. I got my loot but not my Attribute for leveling up. (Now level 4)

    Wulfgar:
    I invited my brother to my game through friend only and we did Companions of Icewind Dale Act 2 Halls of the Duergar on Challenge 2. Upon completion i came back to teh base camp as if Wulgar was a new selected character. no attribute points or any of my gear equipped. I left and loaded in solo fine to get my gear but was again down an attribute point from my leveling. (now level 5)

    Please help i dont want to restart all my characters again. we both love it as a co op brawler its fun and a good pick up put down game if we have an hour or so to spare.

13. Game screen froze for me, but my friend still saw my character reacting to my control inputs

    1. I was on Xbox One
    2. I was playing in a invite only game hosted by my friend on his Series X
    3. I was playing wulfgar and my friend was playing catti-brie

    After finishing the first level we popped back up at the home base area. I was able to move around, but my camera reverted to non-inverted vertical and it wouldn't stick when I tried to change it in settings. I walked over to the chest and it said it was empty when it should have had a dozen items. I then walked over to the shop and got into the shop screen and that is when my screen froze. I got no indication of response to my control inputs, but my friend said my character was moving around when I moved the control stick. I could still use the xbox button to return to the xbox menu. I quit the game, started it back up, my friend re-invited me, and everything seemed to be back to normal. I was able to access the items in the chest.

    Then while trying to figure out if we had time for another level, I was attacking one of the practice dummies (with my new hammer uppercut move and other attacks) and my character became stuck in one place, though it still showed running, dodging, and attack animations. After a few minutes of being stuck, I was disconnected from the game, and we just called it a day.

14. Save BUG on PC

    I encountered this issue on PC. Game loaded at an older save date/time. I lost a a bunch acts, equipment, and went from level 12 to level 9. You can see from my save files that I am at Jamboree Act 2 and finished all of the Goblin Shard but in the world map it shows I have only completed Act 1 of Goblin Shard.

15. Losing XP Upon Mission Completion

    I'm having this issue on Xbox Series X. I was playing with one friend as Drizzt. This is the second time I've had this happen and it's kept me from playing the game in co-op. Basically we'll complete a mission and it shows the XP everyone earns. I went from level 6 to level 9 and once we return to Kelvin's Cairn, my XP from the mission is gone and I'm back to being level 6. Fortunately I do keep all of the loot earned. Please fix this ASAP! It kills the game for us.

16. Not awarded attribute points from shrines.

    Hi i believe i have encountered an issue where the shrine bonus attribute point is not being unlocked after activating them. I have found 14 in my playthrough of all 7 quests (always act1 and 2).

    I am playing on PC through Steam; Solo. Game build version: 1.15.63 . I was playing as Bruenor the Dwarf.

    Looking through the game footage i believe it to be the following level/acts:

    • Missing Attribute Point from statue - act 2 Order of the One Light: Order of the One Light (23nd June 2021)

    I believe the following also helps highlight that something is missing. I am waiting till level 20 to place my points to avoid a mistake so keeping a keen eye on them.

    You get 2 attribute points at level 10

    Current level 11 = 11 Attribute Points
    Shrine in game = 14 Attribute Points
    Total I have = 24
    Total should be = 25

    The video at 5:25 shows the shrine in question and at 7:30 it is the unedited playthrough of the level.

    Please also consider a respec (retrain) we can buy multiple times from the merchant to open up once we reach level 20?

    Any help here would be great. I am enjoying it in solo and wish to continue. This is the biggest concern i have is the game hiding some earned loot so to speak. If i am wrong in my maths or this is intentional please let me know.

18. Sprint mode HOLD or PRESS ... or toggle

    Under accessibility, you can set your sprint mode to HOLD or PRESS.
    This is confusing grammar to use. You would think that HOLD means that you are only sprinting when you hold the button. However, if you then look at Keybindings it says Sprint Toggle. perhaps the keybinding label is matched with the wrong Sprint mode. Because when the mode is set to HOLD you only sprint when holding the button.

    I noticed that HOLD mode doesn't always recognize when I'm holding the button. For example, sometimes when I jump I hold the sprint button down so that I continue sprinting when I finish the landing animation. It doesn't recognize the sprint button is being held. There seem to be a variety of things that interrupt the sprint and don't allow it to resume even if the sprint is being held down.

19. Disconnects and more

    1.) Game Disconnects all users after completion of a mission, Kicking all users back to title screen, Loot is still available after users log in and mission is credited as complete, however party and session has to be reformed every time.

    2.)Verbeeg Chain attack hit box is 2-3 times as wide as the animation / model suggests resulting in players being one shot on higher difficulties even when they believe to have dodged out of the path of the chain attack.

    3.) AI. Needs to be fix badly. there are numerous points during sessions where enemies spawn and just stand around getting beat on, this is not limited to smaller "trash enemies" either, this effects boss encounters as well.

    4.) Players being locked into an attack animation with no way to dodge, block or Parry out of the animations , resulting in player frustration in seeing an attack coming and getting one shot on higher difficulties when getting killed during animation lock.

    5.) Cali-Bri - When having bow shouldered to fire an arrow, holding light or heavy attack does not fire or draw the arrow 40% of the time resulting in the player having to drop the bow and re shoulder.

    6.) Cali-Bri continued - When performing ranged attacks with bow shouldered, occasionally when using the light attack the character will start performing a kick combo instead of firing arrows locking the played into melee attack animations

    Quality of Life :
    The ability to disable some purchased moves(IE moves you had to get to get the move you want). While I love the depth of the move and combo sets, there are certain moves I just never use deliberately but their combo activation is to similar to moves I do intend to use, resulting in my character performing the wrong move, locking me into an animation and resulting in me dieing.

    Over all I Love the concept of the game, and am not intending this as a slam against the game, I want to see Dark Alliance continue forward, in its current state however its my opinion that the game needed a lot more work and tuning before it was even considered for release. This game is doing both its predecessors and WoTC a disservice being in the state its in and that is a right shame. DA 1 & 2 where fantastic games that I spent hundreds of hours with playing couch co-op with friends growing up, I was hoping this would provide a similar online experience in a time where we need that kind of game. It has also caused me to take a step back from believing in the quality of work coming out of WoTC and their Quality Control department, and coming from someone who has spent literal thousands on WoTC products over the years, and continues to buy more, personally it hurts to see a product like this released by a company I associated with quality.

20. Health Potion Bug

    Notes:
    1. I encountered this issue on PC (windows store)
    2. I was playing alone
    3. I was playing as wulfgar
    4. I played for a few hours and my health Potion was working normally, then after upgrading my health consumable and changing the equip slot my heath Potion became bugged. Ever since then whenever I drink the Potion it does nothing / does not heal me. I noticed that the description for my health Potion had changed ( see attached screen shot) it also shows my health usable as level 1 when I have already maxed it out. Also when I made a new character the Potion worked normally again, so only my main character is bugged out.

    Notes:
    1. I encountered this issue on PC (windows store)
    2. I was playing alone
    3. I was playing as wulfgar
    4. I played for a few hours and my health Potion was working normally, then after upgrading my health consumable and changing the equip slot my heath Potion became bugged. Ever since then whenever I drink the Potion it does nothing / does not heal me.
