1. Game Won't Start on Steam

   I've downloaded this game on steam and when i try to press play it doesnt launch the game. i tried a few things to see if it would work. After a little while i tried re installing. It seems to start up for like two seconds and then stops and all i see is the play button again.

2. Manage game not working

   1. I encountered the issues on the Xbox series X 2 playing alone and with friends 3 playing as Bruenor and Wulfgar
   2. I can play solo, but I can not make or join online lobbies. When I try to manage my session to either quick play or custom game, I can see the options to select but pressing A does nothing. I know I am connected to the internet as I was in an Xbox live party and was receiving invites from my friend who plays on the Xbox one. I can accept his invites, but I get a failed to join session error message.

3. Can't swap from custom game to quick game

   1. I encountered this issue on PS5
   2. I was playing alone
   3. I was playing as any hero
   4. Current workaround is to quit game, and start again from main menu

   Hi Team,

   When I launch a custom game (to try and host a public game), I can't see a way to cancel this and move instead to joining another's game (i.e. join quick game).

   This is often when I'm not finding anyone to join a hosted game so I want to instead search for games, but there doesn't seem to be a way to cancel the hosting without quitting the game and joining again from the main menu. Would be great to be able to swap between matchmaking slightly easier.

4. Unresponsive/Laggy AI

   The AI is very unresponsive/laggy. Many times i am standing in front of a mob for even 6-7 seconds , without the mob reacting to me at all. This thing is kinda better in offline mode, where the average response times of the mobs is about 3-5 seconds. Due to that, all the mobs' attacks/action seem pretty "disconnected" from what the characters are doing, thus lowering the whole experience of the game.

   This thing also happens to other 3 of my friends ( all on PC platform, either online/offline , different characters) , so it's not an isolated issue.

   Please for your actions because other than that, the game is really good.

5. My DLC codes from the PS5 Deluxe Edition are not working.

   When I try to enter my (3) DLC codes from the PS5 Deluxe Edition (Gamestop Exclusive steelbook) in the Sony Playstation Store, it tells me that my codes are invalid.

7. Loading screen freez

8. Not Leveling Up or Retaining items/loot from gameplay

   1.)Encountered on Win10 Steam Install
   2.)I was Playing with Friends

   4.)I played the first Section of 3 missions with friends, and i would get gear/loot/shards/gold from the missions as well as experience then when we got back to the main area to access the merchant and loot chest i had nothing and was still level 1, i restarted my game and the problem still occurred so now i am attempting to uninstall and redownload, then will try to see if the problem will occur when i am solo as well, however i have not seen anyone else run into this issue online so might be a new bug

9. Did not receive my loot after completing Act 1 on hero difficulty

   I encountered this on Steam

   I was playing with my buddy Thalls(steam name)

   I was playing as Wulfgar (barbarian)

   Completed Act 1 on Hero difficulty with a friend but did not receive any rewards also says im still LVL 1. After I completed the dungeon it showed i leveled to 3 and got loot. My journal shows the enemies i faced but i dont have any gold or shards that was collected during the dungeon run.

10. Just bought Dark Alliance and it is clearly not ready for release

    Fix the bugs and atrocious game mechanics, or start offering refunds. Taking my money for a game with this many obvious problems damages the brand of every company involved.

    Feedback for devs…

    Enemy AI Problem

    Enemy AI does not aggro or take initiative in attacking the player.They stand there staring at the player.

    Enemy aggro radius of AI is very small and ranged attacks does not make the AI aggressive as AI does not have a code to handle range attacks.

    Enemy AI can be killed from out of aggro range using ranged attacks.

    All Enemy AI can be ignored and they don't chase the players after aggroing.

    Enemy AI can still detect the Invisibility of Drizzt.

    Enemy AI pathfinding is broken, they reset their position if they can't reach the player.

    Enemy AI attack cycles are long, they don't attack often.

    Enemy Registers player's presence after 10-20 seconds and is very bad.

    Enemy AI does not have any form of Crowd control (CC) resistance

    Bosses can be cornered and killed mindlessly

    Bosses are slow and don't attack often or just stand staring.

    Bosses do not have CC resistance.

    All enemies can be ignored and players can reach the boss by sprinting and ignoring enemies.

    If the Enemy reaches a ledge they teleport behind the player.

    Bosses and enemies can be stun locked till the second coming of christ.

    Enemy AI Suggested Solution

    Make Enemy AI aggressive, let them run towards players and start attacking as soon as they spot the players.

    AI should chase the players once they detect players, throughout the dungeons, unless they are killed.

    If the player is at a Distance, Enemies should come running towards the players after detecting the player. This way players can sprint and reach enemies or charge at them before they close in on the players.

    Enemies Should attack often and should have a sense of self preservation.

    AI needs to find alternative paths or do attacks like jump or force players to leave their inaccessible position.

    Enemy AI should detect all types of attacks and attack the player.

    Enemy AI should register Player's presence instantly and get aggroed and begins attacking

    Enemy AI should not Detect Invisible Drizzt.

    Enemies should have a CC  (stuns, dizzied, Immobilize) resistance that has cooldown, after the cooldown they can be CCd again.

    Enemies who get CC  (stuns, dizzied, Immobilize) should be immune to CC  (stuns, dizzied, Immobilize) from the same player for some period of time like 40 seconds. Others should be able to CC, if they didn't do any CC recently. The cooldown should be 40 seconds.

    Bosses should have CC  (stuns, dizzied, Immobilize) resistance.

    Bosses should prevent players from Corner stacking, if the boss is surrounded or cornered, then it should do an AOE that throws the players away damaging them.

    The Enemy should not teleport behind the player and it should push the player away if it reaches the ledge, so it can move out of the ledge area. It can be an AOE attack, if its an AOE attack the player will dodge to avoid it and this gap can be used by enemy to escape by sprinting away from the ledge.

    Combat

    Damage happens before animation Completes.

    Players cannot see the animation of enemies because enemies can register hits before animation is completed. Thus dodge being useless.

    Camera

    Camera should have adjustable FOV

    Camera should not zoom in further if the player targets an enemy.

    Camera turn rate speed is very bad and needs a fix, both vertical and horizontal.

    The last combo misses the majority of time, unless it's an AOE as the character moves forward, it can't track. Solution is to use Lock on feature, but the zoom that comes with lock on makes it unusable.

    Controls

    Allow users to rebind all keys

    Remove Mouse acceleration on PC

    Support Native mouse cursor on PC menu

    Remove input delays in combat from mouse and keyboard

    Remove input delays from menu

    Support native MKB for PC users.

    Hitboxes and Terrain

    Hitboxes are random or bugged, they can even hit players who are far away from the hitbox.

    Traps have wrong hitboxes.

    Puddles have wrong hit boxes.

    Elevation prevents attacks from registering or hitting

    Point blank range attacks don't do anything or register

    Characters can't climb slopes.

    Characters

    Wulfar should consume more stamina for his attacks.

    Cattie Brie should consume a bit less stamina for her attacks.

    Sound

    Improve the Combat impact sounds, especially when the weapon touches the enemy body.

    Parry needs weapon parrying sounds.

    Enemy AI, Controls, combat and hitboxes need the Fix first and foremost and it should be fast.

    Fix the bugs and atrocious game mechanics, or start offering refunds. Taking my money for a game with this many obvious problems damages the brand of every company involved.

13. No invulerable frames as in a typical smasher

    Mobs can attack between frames of player attacks. No other game allows npcs to kill players once an attck is in motion. Were not talking blocking, or parrying an attack were talking not even letting an attack hit before the player is hit and killed.

14. Co Op not working at all! D/C everytime the mission loads.

    No matter what I do to play CO OP I get disconnected everytime the mission finishes loading and I get sent to the Menu screen.

15. Can’t play CO-OP

    If I try and play online with friends it will bring me to a black screen and then the tips screen fill about quarter of the way then back to the black screen then again to the tips screen and once that’s filled it’ll shoot me back to the main menu and say you have been disconnected.

16. Bug

    Xbox One (original), alone, Drizzt, Act 1 first boss fight, when respawning my character's upper body can take a full minute or more to load, the bosses take about the same time to load their entire bodies, target lock icon is missing, enemy attack animations are missing making it impossible to dodge or block attacks (some smaller enemies but mostly Ploobo, Ploobo's chain attack that drags you to him goes through the rocks dragging you to him even if you're on the other side where your target lock doesn't work, and enemy health bars are missing (not the boss health bars). While not "unplayable" all of these things combined habve made me not interested in playing past the first mission.

17. I was playing as Cattie Brie on Pc alone. Enemies will not react to me shooting them if I am too far away and are slow to react if they do.

    Increase enemy aggro range when Cattie Brie is present or just in general. You should also increase the frequency of enemy attacks.

19. chock fulla Bugs / Suggestions

    1. I encountered this issue on PC
    2. I was playing Alone
    3. I was playing as Drizzt
    4. I cant block until any animation finishes its cycle, which can be up to 2 seconds of waiting. If knocked on the ground it takes about 5 seconds to get up, and can be ruthlessly battered all the while. Way up is quickly is to jump but jumping takes time too, where you are still vulnerable and easily combo'd. No button indicator on StoneGrinder when they're executable. No button indicator on executable targets until you're right next to them. Executable targets get knocked out of the state if you press the button instead of holding. Executable targets nearly impossible to activate amidst battle because of the other enemies and previous problems. Health potions queue if pressed in quick secession and dont care how full your health is. Attacks queue when landing from a jump, which often leaves to getting hit by something because you cant block or dodge even after the long time it took to fall from the jump. Stonegrinder has an attack entirely made to be an unavoidable interrupt to stop the player from wailing on them BUT it does insane damage and has no warning signs and can happen at any angle of attack as well as with no foreseeable cause other than potentially being activated from receiving a crit? It also can be triggered after being parried... Which is the WORST for drizzt and I can only imagine obscenely annoying for anyone else. Cattiebrie's held RT for some reason does not allow for queueing another held RT despite it existing for health potions and certain other attacks. Enemies stay still and take arrows without doing anything if far enough away as Cattiebrie. The camera is very slow, especially slow on controller, and it makes combat annoying and attacking behind you impossible. Dodging behind someone to attempt backstabs is also incredibly difficult for this reason and also that repeated dodges seem to occasionally decide for themselves where it wants to dodge too (but this I havent seen too much, so i cant say if this one truely is a bug or just me yet)

    Everything besides the last thing i mentioned is standing in the way of an immensely enjoyable experience. I was so excited to play another dark alliance game, granted it isnt the same mechanics of the gamecube one but I was still incredibly excited. Still am. I want to see this game through because it looks like theres so much cool **** in here, and so much love put in, but I am afraid that I simply wont be able to because maybe somewhere down the line i hit a snag that i just cant pass. GL fixing everything, and godspeed. Im sorry that people bombed your reviews already, but its still recoverable. Just gotta smooth some things out

    2. I was playing Alone
    3. I was playing as Drizzt
    4. I cant block until any animation finishes its cycle, which can be up to 2 seconds of waiting. If knocked on the ground it takes about 5 seconds to get up, and can be ruthlessly battered all the while. Way up is quickly is to jump but jumping takes time too, where you are still vulnerable and easily combo'd. No button indicator on StoneGrinder when they're executable.     Continuously getting stuck in open spots makes no since to not have an unstuck option. I have no choice but to return to camp Everytime and lose all my drops. You have a partially open map please fix it. I know the game just came out but this should've been caught beforehand. I have sent a video on twitter, with no comment from you all since it doesn't promote good things lol.
