Spelltable camera feed bug: feed shows black bars on each side, obstructing left and right edge of the video
Camera: HD Pro Webcam C920, front-facing laptop camera, any other device I tried it on
Issue: A few days ago (at the time of writing) black bars suddenly appeared on the side of the video feed, obstructing the left and right side of the video. This has been the case for every browser that I have tried it on (Firefox, Chrome, Edge) and for every device I connected.
Image 1: how it was before, you can see the left and right edges of my playmat
Image 2: you can see how the black bars obstruct the left and right, the playmat edges are not visible
Image 3: I am using my webcam on another app and it works as intended.

Broken for myself and another player in my pod as well. Tried reinstalling my camera software, different browsers, nothing seems to help. Camera feed appears normally in other apps.

Everyone in our game has this problem. Camera is stuck in portrait mode but only on spell table

Same problem here with all browsers and two logitec webcams. Hope they fix this ASAP!
Here's the temporary fix I'm using.
1. Go to OBS and setup your webcam as a Virtual Camera in 16:9 aspect ratio
2. Go to SpellTable: select OBS Virtual Camera instead of your webcam as a video source -

I am having the same issue as of yesterday. Spelltable updated so now I have new options for my back camera "Ultra Wide" and "Dual Wide" in addition to the front and regular back camera options, but no matter how I set the camera I am getting the black bars cutting off my view. It greatly reduces the amount of play space I have and makes it harder to have an honest, advanced board state.

Same thing started happening for me two weeks ago, both of my webcams (Anivia W8 and Aluratek AWC03F) are affected. Both are fine in the Windows Camera app but both have black bars constricting the view on Chrome and Edge.
